-----Sol rolls his eyes and shrugs, showing exactly how much he'd thought about this part of the plan. Thinking quickly, he points at Raven and Sarah, then again towards the tower with two or three guards. He then motions at Sarah by making wiggling casting motions with his fingers and then pretending to fall asleep.
-----He then points at Gimplefwick and himself, and points at the two guards in the other tower. Sol then indicates that Kazel, Seth and Rinda should direct missile fire on the two in the courtyard, but indicates they should wait until the other two groups are about to pounce on their respective 'prey'.
-----Lastly the Gorian motions with two fingers, that everyone should move slowly, followed by an indication that everyone should head to the courtyard once they've done their part. This is followed by a questioning look at the others. It's obvious that Sol is trying to take out all three groups at once, but from the way Sol's looking, he knows that it has to go flawlessly to work.
-----Seth, enjoying the game of charades with Sol, holds up his hand, then carefully points at his chest. He holds up his sling and then he wiggles his fingers in mimicry of Sol's allusion to casting a spell. He also mimics someone falling asleep. He then shrugs his shoulders and tilts his head in a questioning attitude.
-----Sol points a confirming finger at Seth, and smiles abruptly. Now grinning wildly, he points at the rope, and indicates it unfurling down the inside of the wall, still in the shadows of the keep. He then points at Dread, Seth and Kazel to descend the rope. Sol then indicates with his finger waggling, that Seth should try and put the two guards in the courtyard asleep.
-----Again Sol confirms Sarah's casting her spell on the unconfirmed two or three guards on one tower.
-----Lastly he points at Rinda and himself, and indicates the other tower with two guards. He then makes a rather crude hitting motion.
-----Seth nods in acknowledgement and puts away his sling. He then opens his condiment pouch and looks for some sand. Seth looks hard at the courtyard and tries to estimate how far away he is from his targets. As always, making sure there is a healthy distance between him and danger.
-----The Dread Pirate holds the length of coiled rope ready, then glances at Seth and raises an eyebrow while motioning the rope towards the wall.
-----Seth looks the Dread Pirate in the eye and nods.
-----Raven crouches next to the wall and watches Sol. Raven then nods at Sol and then looks over to Sarah. Raven gives Sarah a slight smile and then begins to move slowly towards their prey.
-----Sol gives both groups a thumbs-up signal, before catching Rinda's eye. He motions in the direction of the other two guards and begins to creep in their direction, making sure his movement is as smooth as possible.
-----Sarah nods briefly toward Sol before getting behind Raven and following him towards the tower until she is in range for the sleep spell.
-----The Dread Pirate slowly plays the rope out over the inside wall of the keep. He tries to lower it in a shadowed portion of the wall. He then quietly swings out over the ledge and clambers down the wall, where he waits for Seth and Kazel.
-----Seth and Kazel quickly follow down the rope. As soon as Seth lets go of the rope, he prepares his spell. The two guards stand about thirty feet away from the trio as they stay hidden by shadows. Within moments, the two guards collapse on the courtyard lawn, their thoughts magically swallowed up by slumber.
-----Up behind them on the wall, Sol and Rinda near their own prey. Rinda nods with a hungry look as she pats the club in her hand. Sol carefully slides his Lathanian blade out of its leather sheath. Sol nods back to Rinda and charges in at the two guards, intent on taking them out as quickly as possible. As he attacks, he whispers.
-----Suddenly one of the guards on the tower turns and looks in Sol’s direction. Seeing the young warrior charging out of the shadows, the man yells a hurried, "‘Ey!" His companion spins and both guards draw their short swords.
-----The guard tries to measure Sol’s advance and quickly thrusts in. With a clang, Sol parries the attack. The Lathanian blade then flashes in the dim torchlight of the tower only to be stopped by the guard’s own parry. With a quick thrust, Sol turns his blade into his opponent slicing into his gut.
-----As the first guard falls dead, the other guard has already missed the huntress with a clumsy swing. Rinda then staggers the man with a shot to the head with her club.
-----At the other end of the wall, the two guards there suspiciously look across the catwalk, alerted by the sound of swordplay. Suddenly, they focus in on Raven’s emerging form and appear to stare at him as if trying to recognize who he is. Just as one of the guards opens his mouth to protest the intrusion, Sarah’s sleep spell hits him, dropping him and the other guard to sleep.
