-----He now points at a young doughy dwarf wearing a studded leather vest, "Runik," He moves on to two humans, a huge towering man with a dull expression in his small eyes perched above his pushed up nose. Long stringy hair hanging down to his strong jutting jaw. The leather he wears looks as though it was pieced together just to fit his large frame. The smaller man seems very average and indescribable with brown-cropped hair and a studded leather vest.
-----Seth intones, "Krord and Brandel. So these two new friends of yours Sol, where do they come from?"
-----The Dread Pirate looks momentarily puzzled, then asks, "If'n ye killed the High Priestess of the Dark, then what is there left to do? That was Devlin, right? If she and her lackeys are finished, isn't that the finish of the mission?"
-----Gimplefwick idly taps his fingers on the tabletop, "I'm not totally opposed to workin together. Perhaps if'n ye use yer writ to appropriate some horses fer our four friends here, we'd be better able to keep up. But let it be understood that any more foolishness like what happened at the keep and I, fer one, will go my own way. I can't speak fer Seth and Kazel in this o' course, but that sort o' thing is far too risky. I don't know though, I'll be leavin it up to Kazel and Seth to decide. I can see benefits and risks to working together and not workin together."
-----"It depends on what this second part is, or whatever else there is left to do. We can then decide whether everyone together is good for this mission or not, which is what all this comes down to." Kazel puts down her mug and crosses her arms. "I'll say I'm open to joining you, Sol, since I never had a problem with that. But if Raven and Sarah wants us all to work together again, then let them speak for themselves. And I just want to be clear that if Dread or Seth here parts company, I'll be there and fight better with them."
-----"Yes. That was Devlin." Sol answers the pirate, before pausing to rub his eyes. His hand returns to his tankard's handle but instead of taking another drink he says, "Ok, Seth's right. We should head t'where we can talk. Also if Kaz wants to hear the very words from Raven's and Sarah's mouths, then we might as well head to th' keep. Put it this way, the last part o' th' mission is dealing wi' someone who we were originally told was dead. Though I thought it was a lie at th' time, there was no real way o' confirming it one way or th' other. But we've got all th' information we need, now."
-----Sol then turns to Seth and then looks back at Romney and Abram. He grins at them and returns his look to Seth, "I assume they come from Oakwood, but since I hardly know their life stories, they'll have t'tell you themselves."
-----Sol finishes the remainder of drink and waits to see if everyone is all right with heading out.
-----The Dread Pirate nods, "Aye, alright then, we'll go to the keep. But we'll still need four extra horses fer our new friends. Maybe we can hit a stable on the way out of town, or you can use yer authority to commandeer a few from the town guard. The least they can do is to supply us with some horses. What say we meet ye at our inn? Seth and I have to head over to the temple of Ora fer a little business. We'll meet ye there as soon as we're finished. Shouldn't take too long."
-----Sol's head tilts slightly to the side as he regards the pirate. Realization dawns on him and he smiles brightly as he amends, "Oh no, not that keep. The others are at Sir Greene's keep here in Oakwood. We've just come back from escorting prisoners and we are staying up there as guests."
-----The Dread Pirate replies, "Aye, alright then, we'll meet ye there then."
-----"Let's see what Aldron's up to," Kazel goes along to see the temple. "See you at the keep, Sol."
-----Sol waves to Kazel and looks at the other five. He gives a welcome smile and asks, "Right then. Are ye all going to stay and have one drink, or are ye going wi' them?" He gestures at the departing trio.
-----The others follow Dread, Seth and Kazel out without saying a word, although the dwarf seems to shoot Sol a reluctant glance at his invite.
-----Sol then finishes his drink with Romney and Abram before heading off to the keep.
-----Later that night, the procession of rogues with Dalyor and the guards pass once again the Boar’s Head and then turn to their left down the street that leads to the massive Keep. On their way, they skirt around the Marketplace on their right, the empty stalls and stands revealing little more than shadows. As they continue straight down one more street block, the Keep’s gate looms in front of them.
-----Dalyor’s eyes grow very large and he is silent for the most part giving away the occasional sniffle. Light from high placed torches about the gate shine down on the rogues’ party as they step away from the darker street. It is then that they realize they are being watched and looking up, everyone sees a detail of guards along the walls looking down on them. About six guards stand around the gate entrance and one of them approaches the rogues while the others maintain their vigil.
-----After the Dread Pirate identifies the party as here to see Sol, the guard nods and tells him, "Yes, you are being expected. These guards will escort you to his quarters."
