-----Sarah glances back and forth at the nobles admiring her and Sol, then she looks back at Sol and smiles. As the dance ends she leans up and kisses Sol quickly. "Thank you." She says. "That was exquisite. I wish I could continue but I must meet with Elandrin now." Although Sarah is torn between Sol and her spells, she knows that she won't get many other chances to talk with her colleagues and so heads off to find the Court Wizard.
-----Sol leans down and gently returns Sarah's kiss. He smiles gratefully as he says, "Go ahead. I know this is important to ye. Enjoy yerself." With that he escorts Sarah back to where Elandrin is, before heading off to quickly speak with one of the guards that accompanied the party. Sol then walks towards the guest chambers.
-----Elandrin stands by one of the long tables applauding as Sol and Sarah approach him. He delightedly says, "Such an enchanting couple you both make. That dance was superb!"
-----The Court Wizard then bows to Sol as the young warrior takes his leave. Turning to Sarah, he cheerfully says, "Now, my dear, it pleases me that we get to speak once again. Pray, tell me what it is I can do to assist you."
-----Raising his eyebrows, he adds, "Please do not be shy or do not hold back from me. It is to your father I have been indebted to before and it would be an honor on my part to assist his daughter who I find to be a most charming and noble Lady."
-----Meanwhile, Sol finds Romney and Abram standing nearby as if the two guards have been awaiting him. The pair looks at each other curiously as he asks them for directions to the Boar's Eye Tavern.
-----Romney casts Sol a mischievous look and says, "Sir, I have seen you dash daringly into the heat of battle. Aye, we can tell you the way to the tavern." Pausing dramatically, the guard then adds with a knowing nod of his head, "However, we would be most honored if you would permit us to escort you to yon establishment." Abram nods and grins in return.
-----"Ye'd be more than welcome t'join me, especially if ye both stop calling me sir. Sol's more'n fine." Sol grins in return, before starting to walk towards the guest chambers. As he does so, he speaks over his shoulder, "Wait here, or meet me at the front o' th' keep if ye feel th' need t' change. I'm just going t'get properly dressed."
-----A few moments later, Sol returns with his Lathanian longsword strapped by his side. He makes his way to the entrance of the keep bypassing the Main Hall where the festivities of the evening are dying down. There by the large doors, Romney and Abram wait for him; the guards armed with their own weapons.
-----As he approaches, he overhears Romney telling Abram, "Yes, I know they were dancing but he has said they are but close friends."
-----The guards flash Sol eager smiles and they follow him out of the keep. Outside the Courtyard seems brightly illuminated from the torches and the full moon shining from the eastern sky.
-----As Sol makes his way to retrieve Thunder from the stables, he catches a glimpse of Raven and Rinda standing off to one side of the courtyard. Raven’s wolf stands near them, its carefree behavior making it resemble an overgrown puppy.
-----Sol walks Thunder over in the direction of Raven and Rinda. Not wanting to completely spoil any possible moment between the two, he stops a respectful distance away and clears his throat. The warrior then calls to the hunter, "Hey Raven, I'm going down t' th' Boar's Eye Tavern fer an hour or two. It was just fer information, but it's now an outing." He grins and indicates Romney and Abram's eager selves just behind him, before continuing, "Yer both welcome t'join. Sarah's in wi' th' court mage, so she's out."
-----Sol then mounts his stallion and regardless of the pair's decision, heads towards the keep's gates.
-----Raven smiles and says, "Some other time friend. Thanks for the invite though." Raven returns to talking with Rinda.
-----As Sol and the guards ride on the streets, the lamp tenders are out opening the street lamps so that their magical light can add some illumination to the thoroughfares. The streets now seem less busy with workers heading home and the shops beginning to close.
-----Romney leads them now to head in the direction of the marketplace. By the time they make it to the market area, most of the tents and stands have been closed down and the place is mostly shrouded in shadows.
-----Sol’s thoughts are interrupted suddenly by the approach of a detail of the city watchmen. The number of guards is at least a dozen with what appears to be a priest among their number. The lieutenant seems to recognize Romney and Abram and then Sol. He salutes them as he politely asks if they are in need of assistance. Romney indicates that they don’t, and the watchmen make way for them.
