-----Raven steps forward and addresses the man seated by Sarah, "Good day. My name is Raven. Who might you be?" Raven studies the man as he responds to Raven's question.
-----Kazel stays a moment longer to hear what the man has to say.
-----The man smiles at Sarah before standing and bowing to Sol and Raven. "Permit me to introduce myself," he says with a strong Gorian accent, "I am Aaron Repe’. I am an explorer of sorts, mostly researching mineral formations."
-----Extending his hand toward Sarah, he says, "MiLady Sarah Night has been most gracious in keeping company with me. I cannot express my gratitude enough." He flashes a charming smile toward the mage.
-----Then with a questioning look, he adds, "I believe she said I had some information that you would find interesting?" He continues to look at Sarah to see what she says.
-----Seth almost on his way over to the bar stops mid stream and follows Kazel out of the bar.
-----Sarah makes an obscene gesture toward Sol and curses at him. She then turns to Raven.
-----"This guys knows something about a certain rock we found earlier. Apparently they have more uses than what we've seen done with them."
-----Sarah grabs her pack. "Let’s go." To Aaron she says. "You got a horse? We need to get away from this town and have a little chat."
-----Surprise flits across Sol's face, though just as surprisingly, he nods and smiles to Sarah and says, "Of course. I did not doubt Aaron. Just yerself." He bows in a fairly perfunctory manner, spins on his heel and heads towards the inn's door. When he passes Rinda, he briefly says something softly to her, and then leaves.
-----Raven pauses for a moment and then shakes his head, "Wait, why can't we talk here?" Raven looks around the room, "I don't think there’s a spies here." Raven levels his gaze on Aaron, "Or won't you tell us what you know unless we leave here."
-----Aaron frowns somewhat and shrugs his shoulders. "I do not have all of my manuscripts here. I have made arrangements to stay the night in the storage building but a walking distance from here as there is no inn."
-----Suddenly, the Dread Pirate pokes his head inside the tavern, yelling, "Hey! Me and me crewmates have to go somewheres fer a few minutes. We'll be right back and meet ye outside this tavern. If'n Sarah gives ye anymore trouble, I recommend ye just pimp-slap her upside her head and tie her to her horse."
-----Sarah rubs her hands against her temples. "You see why I just want to sit here and drink until all these people I'm supposed to be working with leave town?" She says to no one in particular.
-----"Let's go get your manuscripts." She says to Aaron. "We can just meet the others in Oakwood." She turns to Raven and says mockingly, "That is assuming no one wants to tie me to my horse and make fun of me in the meantime." Then immediately her tone loses its venom and she says softly, "I'm sorry Raven, I shouldn't take it out on you. I know you don't believe in me anymore than the others do, but at least you don't rub it my face as often." Sarah gets up and gets ready to leave. "And tell everyone to stay the hell away from me."
-----Aaron gets up with Sarah with a somewhat confused look on his face. Looking at Sarah as he places a hand on her arm to steady her, he asks, "You mentioned a rock you found? With what we have talked about, it could not be . . . ?" He leaves the question hang with a startled look of recognition on his face.
-----Sarah looks at Aaron with a 'Oh, now you get it, do you?' look and then smiles at him. "That’s why we gotta get out of here, honey."
-----"When the hunters forget the hunt, the prey lives another day to become stronger." Rinda says standing beside Raven with an angry look on her face.
-----"Your tone weeps of pity, girl!" the huntress says, facing Sarah, "Do you so quickly forget those you know on a whim? Are you so ready to jump to the jaws of the beasts? Would you abandon us now when you agreed to take up this hunt?" Rinda’s face becomes flushed with emotion.
-----Sarah listens to Rinda’s tirade with a sneer. "You don't even know what you're hunting. Spare me the speeches. I don't know any of you. And you don't know me. Remember that. I'm going after what matters. You aren't. And I'm not going to stand in front of you all and expose myself to your insults and daggers again."
-----She looks towards the door. "I told you I'd meet you in Oakwood. I will." To Aaron she says, impatiently. "We goin' or what?"
-----"It is you who has forgotten the hunt, what really matters!" Rinda protests, "And what of Sol, he who has stood by you more than anyone. You dare to treat him as the lowly fodder? Have you been blind to the way he has tended to you, perhaps even worshipped you! If you went to him now and showed him kindness, do you think he would hold your foolish ways against you! Go on, I say, choose your path! I call to the Great Hunter that you do not end up as the prey to your childishness!" Rinda then turns away and looks at Raven.
