-----Raven says, "Actually you're the only pirate I've ever met." Raven pauses as if he is going to say more, but instead he just shakes his head. "Anyways, My name is Raven, I am a tracker and hunter." Raven motions to the woman standing next to him dressed in colors of tan and green under her leather armor, "This here is Rinda, a great hunter in her own right."
-----Raven motions with his head to the golden eyed grey wolf near him, "And this, a wolf, who travels with me."
-----Sol glances at the halfling before addressing Sarius, "We're all here for the same mission, yeah? 'Cause I coulda sworn that we were here to help Hearthorn, not loot it." His lighthearted tone is slightly tinged with hesitancy.
-----Kazel glances sideways at Raven. "... Yeah but they don't even taste good..." she mutters under her breath as she takes on a dreamy look before snapping out of it. "Well! Of course, if sticking people is our mission then you won't find a holier crusader than the Dread Pirate over there. Hand picked by the mighty Sun Lord himself," she says nodding happily towards the red-robed Jacian Dawnrider.
-----She then pouts a little as a slight look of boredom, or perhaps impatience creeps over her face. Resting the back of her head on her palms, she starts to spin to and fro on her heels looking like she wishes there was a wall or lounge chair to lean back on.
-----Raven looks confused again, "Taste...?" Raven cocks his head to one side, "Damn! You are hard to read Kazel. I bet this hunt will be interesting to say the least." Raven turns toward Jacian Dawnrider, "Speaking of hunting, what news do you have, Lord Dawnrider, on that bag of puss named Krondor?" Raven spits out Krondor's name like it was a rotten piece of meat.
-----Gimplefwick looks up from his pie eating long enough to grin at Kazel's description of him as a 'Crusader', "Arrr, that was right nice of ye Kazel. Here, have a piece of pie." The Dread Pirate hands over a slice of pie to the half-elven butcher.
-----The diminutive pirate continues, "As for slaughtering the helpless, I've found very few people to actually be helpless. If they were truly helpless I just made them walk the plank and swim to shore."
-----He seems to reminisce for a moment, "A lot of the time they would say things like, 'NO! I can't swim with my hands tied behind my back, don't throw me over the side,' but I always suspected they were just tryin to take advantage of me good nature." The Dread Pirate looks wistful for a moment and then gazes expectantly at the Chamberlain for an answer to his requests.
-----Sarah, standing as usual between Sol and Raven hasn't really been paying attention the whole time. Rather she has been feeding bits of beef jerky to a fat little owl that is sitting on her shoulder. A silence falls on the hall, she glances up briefly to see that everyone is looking at her.
-----"Oh, sorry." She mumbles and walks forward. The girl is a small, slender young woman who stands about five and a half feet tall. She is wearing a hooded yellow dress that falls down to her ankles, with slits on both sides up to her knees. Her dress is bright yellow and amazingly, so are her riding boots. Her blonde curly hair looks pale next to the dress as it cascades down the sides of her hood, which is up. On her shoulder is sitting a chubby little owl that is eating beef jerky right out of her hand. Around her waist are dozens of darts, and more than few belt pouches containing various substances. Also tucked into the cord around her waist is a golden wand. A backpack is over both of her shoulders and it is not very full. Around her neck is a necklace that looks new. A silver chain with three owl feathers spaced evenly around it. In the middle, hanging down, is a shooting star, the holy symbol of Destine.
-----The girl curtseys eloquently and says to everyone. "Hi! I'm Sarah, Sarah Night. This little cutie here is Chessie. Say hi to everyone Chessie!" The little owl squawks at the assembled company and then goes back to eating. "I'm a sorceress...well, almost. Someday I'll be one. Anyway I really liked running around with Raven and Sol last time and I hope I have fun and find some cool new stuff this time too." Her hood remains up the whole time, and those that can see her face see that she is squinting in even the small light in the building.
-----Gimplefwick rummages around in his pack for a moment after Sarah Night speaks. He then emerges holding something in his grubby, little fist. "Shiver me timbers, but if'n ye want something interesting, here be this mysterious crystal I found the other day in a box. I don't know what it does, if anything, but I don't particularly care for it anymore. I wish ye joy of it." He then hands the crystal over to her and closes his pack back up.
-----Sarah runs over to the halfling and all but snatches it away from him. "Thanks little guy!" She says, patting his bird on the head. As she walks back towards the group, she keeps looking all over the crystal, totally dazzled by it. "Where did you find this?" She asks, making a mental note to investigate the crystal later.
