-----He then looks across at Dilton, who is helping some women from the wagons and says, “Dilton has been a real rock. I don’t know if you knew, but he has been carrying a nasty cut to his chest. It would do him good to rest for another day.”
-----Thunder then snorts and stamps one foot to the ground as if impatient. Garrison chuckles at the steed and says, “I don’t know if Thunder is trying to tell us something or not.”
-----"Yes, more or less. I imagine it's along th' lines o' 'let's get going or take this damned saddle off my back'." Sol grins his reply before looking regretfully at Dilton. Still in reply to Garrison, he murmurs, "I don't think we can afford t'stay here long, but at least some rest is due." He turns back to the blacksmith and smiles thankfully, "We'll accept yer offer o' hospitality wi' our gratitude, but I fear we won't stay past taking our lunch here. Fer now, is there somewhere we can stable our horses fer th' next half day?"
-----As the blacksmith replies, Sol once again checks on where Jeilin has drifted off too, reminding himself that he'll need to speak to her before the group leaves once more.
-----“Aye,” the blacksmith replies, “some of our men will stable the horses.” He then instructs some of the village men to take the horses to the stables outside his own workshop.
-----“Follow us to the main hall,” the blacksmith then tells Sol. “There all of you can rest as well as have something to eat.”
-----“That’s the best invitation I’ve heard in a while,” Garrison says smiling as he starts following the people from the wagons as well as those helping them.
-----Lovan suddenly rushes up to Sol with a wild look in his eye. “The clouds fill the sky this day!” he says in a low, but excited tone. “Lead us to where the battle is and we will deliver the Fury of the Rager!”
-----Jeilin reappears in the village, looking a bit lost. Glancing around and not seeing Dilton, she follows the loud voice of Lovan and comes up to see what is happening. She too then looks up at the sky, as if to assess the weather for the day.
-----"We will leave this day," blithely replies the Gorian as he allows Thunder to be led off, quietly pleading with the horse to behave himself, "Though not till just after lunch, an' then we'll see what th' Great Rager holds in store fer us." Sol claps the priest's shoulder companionably, finally noticing Jeilin. He smiles shortly and wanders over to where she now stands, skygazing. After a short confused moment of staring upwards himself, he asks jovially, "Well then, we're staying fer some o' today t' rest up a'fore heading out again. Are ye still keen on staying wi' us, priestess? Uh, Jeilin I mean."
-----"Oh yes," Jeilin turns her attention back from the clouds, nodding eagerly at Sol. "You see, I have yet to complete my task for coming this way, so I can't go back yet. Not with nothing but a few months of captivity to show to the elders. If your group is willing, I'm indeed keen to come along, yes." Looking back up again, she adds, "The signs in the sky tell of both hope and fury, and it shall be back towards the West."
-----A slight smile tugs at his lips as Sol replies, "Then it's a good thing we're headed in that direction. Come now, th' headman is offering us a meal in th' main hall, an' I don't know about ye, but I could use a meal." The warrior waits for the small stargazer to join him, before walking to the building indicated by the blacksmith.
