-----Lightning continues to flash and, in the next moment, the two hobgoblins emerge from the tent, their eyes wide with shock. “Cruesh has been slain too! Slay those who stand in your way!” says one of the hobgoblins with a voice tinged with desperation.
-----Ulthang storms towards the two disoriented bodyguards, his face a thundercloud of fury. The commander bellows his orders, "You two! Head back into Kulenda's heart. Give the captain responsible orders to assault the priest's of hate's position now! Cruesh was ready for Morosh. He must've been warned, and they are to blame. In fact, they are probably ready for us. Tell the captain he is ordered to draw all but a couple of guards from the barn, they are wasted there, and they may be needed for the assault."
-----Sol hopes that the two are uncertain enough to react to his words. To the combatants around, Ulthang turns slightly and yells at the top of his lungs, "Your comrade is right! Slay them! Slay them all!"
-----Without hardly a hesitation, the two hobgoblin soldiers run back the way they had entered into the orcish camp. With luck, they might actually follow Ulthang’s orders as if he was actually one of their own.
-----Now Sol sees the two guards who emerged from Cruesh’s tent reenter the fray about them. They attack savagely at the orcs who meet them and the shocked uncertain expressions they held before are gone.
-----As Sol swings his sword, he notices the warmth that continues from his chest area and a thrill runs through him. It appears to be no illusion simply brought on by the fighting that somehow his wounds are healing. He feels more alert than before as if to reflect the energy in the sky above him.
-----A few yards from him, Sol sees a line of about eight orcs making their way through the tents bearing swords and flails. They seem to make their way toward their leader’s tent stooping as they go to avoid attention. Perhaps they intend to back up their chief who they don’t know has been slain.
-----As a quick flash of lightning briefly illuminates the camp, Sol charges them. Raking his sword across the first three in line, he kills one, leaves one critically hurt and injures another. As some of the orcs fumble about, the young warrior slays the one he injured and takes out another one while sending another to the ground with a deep slash to the gut.
-----Sol steps across the critically injured orc on the ground and as he does the trio of orcs that are left step back from him. They weakly jab their weapons at him and one orcish blade actually draws a slight scratch on Sol. However, no blood is lost and the cut seems to instantly disappear.
-----In the next moment, the three orcs turn and make to run for it. With three quick slashes, Sol kills two of them and critically injures another one!
-----In his immediate area now, three orcs lie on the ground barely clinging to their wretched lives. Off to one side, some of the hobgoblins have started some of tents of the camp burning. With the wind rising, Sol imagines that it might help spread the fire across most of the encampment. Farther away more goblinoids and orcs battle each other under the growing storm.
-----As Sol turns toward the river, he does notice a path leading away from the tents toward where the mining would be taking place.
