-----Raven moves quickly to assist Lovan. Drawing both swords to his sides, the hunter rapidly takes both orcs down before they are aware of what has hit them.
-----Another bug creature latches onto the back of one of the orcs. The humanoid thrashes madly around as the strange beast stabs into the orc's neck with its thin proboscis. Close by, the first orc that was attacked by a bug creature has collapsed to the ground as the creature seems to be feasting on it in some manner.
-----Sol strides forward and is met by two more orcs exiting the keep. They pause momentarily squinting in the light produced by Sarah's spell. The young warrior barely slowed his pace as the Lathanian blade claimed the lives of both humanoids.
-----Raven's wolf suddenly appears biting into the orc that Garrison hit. The animal's attack is so vicious, the orc's blood spatters as it hits the ground. After a furious rip from the canine's teeth, the orc lies still never to rise again.
-----Raven begins to move after Sol and is stalled by a humanoid, who gets in the hunter's way as the orc tries to fend off the last of Sarah's bug creatures. Raven's short sword flashes out but misses the orc.
-----Garrison comes out of his surprised state to focus on the wolf that killed the orc. The woodsman simply smiles at the wolf before advancing.
-----Lovan then runs up and swings at the orc in front of Raven. His warhammer swoops over the orc's head as it ducks the buzzing bug creature.
-----As Sol reaches within feet of the keep's opening, many of the orcs inside are seen to back into the darkness within. Many of them squint and snarl at the bright light cast above the courtyard.
-----Sol raises his blade and yells a wordless challenge, before eagerly charging the cautious orcs inside the keep itself.
-----Sarah shudders as her summoned bat things feast on the orcs. 'Why can't I learn a spell that summons something pleasant?' The Lathanian sorceress wondered as she kept an eye out on her friends. They seemed to be doing well by themselves, and she hadn't even seen orcs slow down Raven and Sol for quite some months now.
-----Sarah nudged Marlexana forward, keeping careful to stay a certain distance away from the fight. She tried to see through the newest hole to see how many orcs waited through the walls.
-----Sol and Raven move forward, greeting a few hesitant humanoids at the opening.
-----Raven stabs out first with a strange calmness, impaling the neck of a loathsome orc. With a twist of the short sword, the hunter kills the humanoid and takes one step forward.
-----The young warrior beside him fights a bit more frantically. Sol slices his sword from over his head, cleanly splitting the skull of a mottled skinned orc before it could react. As he steps forward, Sol's next attack carves diagonally through an orcish soldier's torso, neatly cleaving through the chain armor. Quickly reversing the motion, Sol then hacks into the neck of another orc sending it dying to the floor choking on its dark blood.
-----Raven barely flicks his sword, being almost face to face with another squinting, growling orc. The action slices across the orc's neck at first giving the impression of a light nick. In the next instant, blood flows rapidly down the humanoid's chest as its opened vessels empty.
-----Lastly, Raven punches out with his off hand sword stabbing another soldier straight in the chest.
-----Stepping over the half-dozen orcs they just killed, Raven and Sol step into the entry chamber of the ruined castle. With their swords raised, the heroes face dozens of humanoids who oddly back away from the entrance. Whether it is the fury of the heroes or the light from Sarah's spell that causes them to back is not apparent.
-----Sarah coaxes Marlexana up as close to Sol and Raven as she thinks she can manage without putting Caranip in danger. She tries to see through the gap in the wall to see what exactly the inside of the castle looks like.
-----There, she sees the two heroes standing in the great entry hall of the ruined keep. Dozens of humanoids fill the hall although they back away from the blasted door.
-----Continuing to press forward at a charge, Sol meets the hesitant orken warriors with a bizarre mix of unbridled fury and exhilaration.
-----Raven moves quickly to work with Sol on butchering these orcs. Raven's swords are blurs of silver death.
-----An echo of thunder booms through the castle as Lovan steps inside behind Raven and Sol. Garrison limps along behind the storm priest, sighing as he sees the troop that greets them.
-----Raven dashes into a line of orcs off to the right of the door. With two ripping slashes, he takes down two warriors before the rest can react.
