-----"Here! Attack me, you brain-addled swine!" Sol growls as he charges the orcs facing Strolum.
-----Some of the orcs turn and growl at the newcomers to the battle. Their mannerisms seem not only defiant, but desperate as they recognize in their own ignorant way, the turning of the tide.
-----Strolum seems to take heart in hearing the Gorian's voice. The red-haired warrior slays an orc in front of him at the same time the Lathanian blade sends another humanoid to the floor bleeding critically.
-----Golden magic missiles released by the young mage momentarily cast a brilliance into the nearest shadows as they bolt across to the four nearest orcs. Each one hits an orcish target injuring each in a different way. As each orc is hit, it either screams or moans with the impact of the spell.
-----"Their witch is here! Slay her!" another orc shouts.
-----Raven savagely rips into an orc near him, throwing its dead carcass out of his way. He then begins working his way closer to those menacing Dilton.
-----Sol quickly upends his sword with the point aimed at the dying orc at his feet. With a downward motion, the blade claims the evil one's life.
-----Dilton stabs in at the orc who hurt him, but the foe parries his blade. The warrior croaks out in his froggy tone, "I'll git ye yet fer drawin' me blood!"
-----Lovan tries to follow Raven's progress, but he is stopped by one of the orcs Sarah hit with her spell. The Storm Priest tries to swing in with his hammer to take down the humanoid. However, the orc suddenly raises its blade catching the priest's warhammer.
-----At the same time, Pil slashes in violently and destroys the other orc facing him. The warrior then turns toward the one he injured before.
-----Sol then steps up to help Dilton with the two orcs facing him. The young warrior brings his weapon up, but the orc he faces is alert to his movement. The Lathanian blade is suddenly stopped by an orcish weapon. The orc then attempts to rotate his blade around to slash at Sol's legs, but Sol is able to parry the strike.
-----Garrison quickly moves in front of Sarah facing yet another of the orcs which fell victim to her spell. His battleaxe misses the wary orc, but likewise his opponent's attack is foiled by Garrison's chain mail. "Least I didn't get hurt this time," he quips to Sarah over his shoulder.
-----An orc with a familiar voice suddenly screams as two darts protrude from its face while a third hangs from its chain armor. "That's for calling my mistress a witch!" Caranip shouts above the fighting.
-----The clanging of many swords is heard while only one orc makes a hit. Raven receives a stab that does not help his already hurt condition.
-----In retaliation, Raven slices into the humanoid, quickly taking its life. He then takes a moment to recover from his latest wounding.
-----With an angry grunt, Garrison downs the orc in front of him and chops into it as it lies on the floor making sure it doesn't get up again.
-----Strolum quickly turns and stabs into the orc facing Sol. The monster sways critically on its feet.
-----Sol tries to finish it up as he raises his blade. His first swing misses as the orc tries to avoid it by ducking. Even though it succeeds, it falls dead to Sol's next stab.
-----Garrison moves just to the left of Raven to face another orc. He swings but the orc, being unharmed so far, avoids the attack.
-----Dilton stabs in and wounds the last orc facing him across its belly. The orc tries to fight back, but its wound keeps it from striking the warrior.
-----Pil strikes at his opponent as hard as he can, but somehow the movement hurts his sword arm. The big man lets out a frustrated yowl as he misses. Luckily, the orc comes close to striking him, but also misses.
-----The orc that received a pincushion treatment to the face via Caranip dashes forward to get at the gnomish girl. Just as the orc gets around Lovan and his opponent, the orc is stopped short by Rinda's club, which shatters its skull. As it falls dead, Caranip runs quickly to retrieve her darts.
-----The orc facing Lovan slams its sword into Lovan's new shield. The Storm Priest gloats at it by saying, "This used to be your leader's shield!"
-----Two more orcs lose their lives as the Hunter slashes about like an enraged animal.
-----With a loud whud, Lovan's hammer connects with his foe's shoulder. The orc grabs its shoulder, which appears either dislocated or broken.
-----Now, with only three orcs left to fight, the warriors soon make short order of them. As the last one falls, everything turns quiet except for the rising wind outside and the heavy breathing of the fighting men as they lower their weapons.
