-----After telling the three warriors to keep watch on the prisoners, he motions the rest away under the trees.
-----The woodsman first motions to the prisoners. "Now that our guests know where we're going, we still need to figure out what to do with them. Do we kill them which makes us no better than the butchers they are, or leave them behind with the chance they could tell where we're headin'?"
-----"Next, yeah, we go to Ku and free the slaves. Okay, you heard that guy, there are people held as slaves and two forces of humanoids. That's twice as many as we've faced so far. AND this time there are innocents. Do you think they're holding all the slaves in one place? Maybe, maybe not. I don't know if we're gonna be able to just simply ride in, fight to the death, toss a few spells without killing at least half of us off let alone save anybody."
-----Garrison looks around at everybody and finishes with, "Yes, we have wounded." Looking at the young mage, he asks, "You don't happen to have any more potions, do you?"
-----"No, I don't think I will. And you can clean up your own trash." Sarah says somewhat venomously. "I'm through with this. Come here, Caranip." Sarah calls to her apprentice, who comes scampering over, and mounts on Marlexana in front of Sarah.
-----"It was fun, while it lasted, but I think it is time this group ceased to be. All great fellowships come to an end." Sarah says sternly as she undoes her necklace.
-----She glances at Sol, then leans down in her saddle and kisses him on the cheek. "Sol, I will always love you, but I have come to realize you won't ever feel the same way about me. Keep yourself safe."
-----She glances to Raven. "Raven, you need to come to terms with the fact that you are a half-orc before it tears you apart. Help him, Rinda."
-----She surveys the rest of the group. "You are all quite loyal and true warriors. Be brave and continue the good fight." Sarah's form begins to shimmer.
-----"Good bye." She says, and disappears completely along with Marlexana and Caranip.
-----Sol leans back in his saddle, his eyes wide in shock, in fact the Gorian looks completely stunned. He can't even seem to form simple words, though it is apparent by the movements of his mouth that he is at least attempting that much.
-----Rinda's jaw drops during Sarah's speech. As she vanishes, the Huntress can suppress her anger no longer. "HOW DARE SHE!" Rinda says in a voice that rivals Broactor's. "The foolishness of that girl! She runs out on us when we spent all that time in Rushfen waiting for her." Rinda's face lightens when she glances at Sol.
-----A sad expression registers before she turns to her love, the Hunter. "SHE needs to come to terms with the fact that she is a spoiled child." She then grows silent, still fuming.
-----Garrison is just as stunned as he looks back and forth from Raven to Sol. "What the hell just happened?" he asks as if he'd just had the wind knocked out of him.
-----Lovan then leans in toward everyone and says with a growl in his voice. "We don't need her. Let us rid ourselves of these prisoners and move on."
-----Raven blinks twice as Sarah disappears, "Damn, didn't see that coming." Raven snarls, "She even got in the last word! Blast her and her kind!" Raven looks over to Garrison, "She got bored and grew tired of our cause." Raven sighs, "At least she didn't leave us in the middle of a battle..." Raven's snarl returns, "but she did leave us while in the middle of our mission."
-----Raven turns to Sol, "I..." Raven is lost for words, "I don't know what to say my friend." Raven frowns, "I feel I had a hand in her leaving."
-----Sol looks over at Raven, as a twitch begins to develop in the Gorian's left eyelid. He drives the heel of his hand, harder than necessary, into the offending muscle in a distracted attempt to cease it's pulsing. Failing that, he turns and walks over into the trees, saying without turning, in a broken voice, "Give me a minute."
-----It takes a couple of minutes for Sol to actually return, but when he does, his features are neutrally set in stone. "Lovan is right, we do not need her, and our cause shall not falter. Garrison, I understand your concern about th' numbers an' th' situation we now face. Do not worry, we will make sure we approach this in whatever way will ensure th' villager's safety."
-----Sol then glances at the other three mercenaries, "Well, does yer oath t' . . . her . . . still hold, or can we count on yer aid here in Ravenhold?"
-----"We be wit' ye!" Strolum says. "We knew ye was good folk when we met ye back n' th' woods, showin' us sword fightin' n' all. We figured we be guardin' th' lady outta respect t'ye n' all, though Dilton here's always been a right sucker fer a pruty face."
