-----Sol exhales deeply, though when he inhales the breath draws in ragged. He moves away from Thunder and puts both his hands on Sarah's shoulder and his voice comes out a hoarse whisper, "Ye should know me well enough by now that I don't speak what I don't mean. An' though Terrena knows how hard it is to come up with a firm mind on anything these days, I am certain of my feelings. Sarah, I know I love you. It's just that...events o' late have spun my mind about, an' I was never overly apt at displaying that sort o' affection, aside to...most o' my family. Ever. So yeah, also...If it's of any comfort I held some o' th' same insecurities there as you. So..."
-----The Gorian stops talking for a moment and considers something. It's long before he shares his revelation, "Ye know, sometimes talking can only say so much..."
-----With no warning Sol leans in and kisses Sarah firmly on the lips and it appears that he has no intention of breaking off anytime soon.
-----Sarah's entire body shudders as Sol kisses her. Her shoulders, which were flexed tight with her nervousness, become relaxed. She feels her knees getting weak. Sarah's arms wrap themselves around Sol's waist and the mage holds the warrior against her, likewise not intending to let go. She wishes they could stay like this forever.
-----Some two, perhaps three minutes later, Sol reluctantly relaxes his embrace on Sarah. His lips linger upon Sarah's a moment more before he slowly pulls away. "R-Right then. Gods..." Sol mutters quietly as his brain haphazardly begins to function once more. The warrior looks meaningfully over Sarah's shoulder towards the stable entrance, "We should go. Go hit some nasty men around th' head an' shoulders an' all that."
-----Sarah only opens her eyes after Sol is done talking. Her lips are still parted slightly, giving her a breathy look. She raises one of her arms and runs a hand through Sol's hair, gazing up longingly and adoringly at his face. "Someday, Sol, when all the evil is conquered and there's nothing left for us heroes to do..." She just leaves the thought hanging as she finally steps back away from him, smiling happily, many things on her mind finally set to rest. She holds out a hand. "Come then, darling, let's go find the others."
-----Sol smiles broadly and walks over to get the other's horses. With a fistful of reins in one hand, the young warrior walks forward and takes Sarah's hand intending for the two of them to walk out hand in hand, leading the companion's mounts.
-----By the time Sol and Sarah emerge from the stables, the rest of the party stand outside the temple. Now fully dark, the stars shine down from the late spring sky. The small village of Nox has long quieted for the night, its people taking to their homes early. Even the small River Rot Tavern, though serving some of the visiting river people, seems silent as if the clientele wish not to draw attention to themselves to things in the dark.
-----Rinda chants a prayer that seems to draw a fire into Raven's eyes. "O Great Hunter," the huntress says to the distant stars above, "here we stand upon the final trail that leads to our prey. Long have we hunted, long have we stalked and long have we tracked. We have suffered losses and licked our wounds, but our pack remains strong."
-----"Favor us now so that the prey will not hear us in the night, that the Hunt shall be truly ours. Bless us with heightened senses so that we may strike as sure as tooth and claw."
-----Rinda then approaches each person present applying the Hunter's mark to all who permits it. Raven and Garrison accept the mark, while Lovan and Romney do not. Rinda does not even approach Harland who stands watching Sarah with an unreadable expression.
-----To Sol, Rinda says, "You who follow the Rager are a brother to the pack. May the power of your sword and strength bring the fury to the Hunt." She then smears a line of yellow across Sol's face if he permits.
-----To Sarah, the huntress says, "You who uses the mystical arts to hunt our prey are a sister to our pack. May the power of your magic find our quarry and bring glory to the Hunt." She then runs thin lines of yellow down Sarah's cheeks if the Lord Wizard's daughter does not protest.
-----Sol approaches Beleya and says to her, "Don't expect word from us. Once we take the castle, we'll probably end up waiting for the reinforcements so we can ambush them. Chances are though, that you will hear from one of us. We need t'meet a group within the next few days back at Redmarsh city so whichever one o' us goes, I'll make sure they let you know what has happened. Either way, thanks fer yer help. I wish there was more I could do t'repay ye...if ye think o' something, feel free t'ask."
