-----Seth smiles at the description and adds, "Do you think they actually have sex? I get the feeling that the ever-scowling Rinda may be part of some puritan sect where 'sex for procreation purposes only' - and there is no other type of sex - is allowed during some obscure event that happens once every millennium. Then again I could be wrong!"
-----The Dread Pirate looks flabbergasted at Seth's comment and mutters, "Arrr, that never even occurred to me, but yer probably right. They probably have a ritual fer it and everythin, just to make sure that nobody gets any unnecessary enjoyment out of it. By Joren, what a horrible thought. But could ye imagine Sol's and Sarah's progeny? It'd be a contest to see which couple has the most moronic offspring. Evolution'd be taken a step backwards. A big step. O' course that's assumin that any of 'em can even figure out how to have sex. Let's face it, none of 'em are really very bright. We'll just have to hope that nobody explains it to 'em. Fer the sake o' the human race if nothin else. Actually though, that thought o' any of 'em reproducin makes me understand why some wild animals eat their young. Some things are just too much of a blight fer the world to carry on its back."
-----Gimplefwick shrugs philosophically as he ponders the horrors of a litter of little Ravens roaming the earth.
-----"Well if they were trying, I hope they were interrupted by the town guard bursting into the bedroom and arresting them as horse thieves, and then pilloried in the town square naked. Too bad I can't stay behind to see that." Kazel keeps her eyes scanning around for deadly simians emerging from the trees. "I'd have to move out of Hearthorn if Zepharon retires one day and is replaced with Sarah as the Lord Wizard." She then decides to terminate this horrible thought.
-----Krord sits atop the huge horse that Sol had ridden. He looks with an expression of curiosity and confusion when the debate of the former companions' offspring occurs. A momentary quiver goes through the large horse and the large guard pulls on the reins to calm the steed.
-----Marast continues to stare through the trees and finally looks back at everyone signaling for quiet. The dwarf makes a rude gesture at the elf.
-----In the distance, more savage and low yapping is heard while overhead comes the distant cawing of a crow.
-----Seth raises his hands. "Dark beasts running on the ground. Albert suggests us leaving, but I fear our horses may be tired."
-----The Dread Pirate looks troubled for a moment and tugs on several of the decorative candles tied to his beard, "Hrrmmm, well I guess we could try to backtrack and find another way around these dark beasts. Any idea how many of 'em there are? Maybe I could lead them off, with me boots. Too bad we don't know where Raven and Sol are. I could try leadin the critters to their campsite. Anyway, the only problem with me tryin to lead 'em off is if I can't find ye later. Ah well, time is of the essence and we can't afford to be fightin our way through the countryside. I'll try leadin 'em away, then circle back here. Hopefully the beasts won't be able to track me very well, or maybe they'll give up after a couple miles. Anyway, if I can lead 'em a couple miles away, that'll be far enough fer us to get by. Ye might want to have Albert flyin overhead, just to keep an eye on things and see if'n they all get drawn off."
-----Dread then hops off of his horse, preparing to creep forward until he spies the beasts.
-----Marast watches the halfling pirate disappear among the trees. He eases off his horse and keeps his eyes on what is happening up ahead while stretching the fatigue out of his muscles.
-----Nervous noises begin to come from Sol's horse as Krord continues to steady it.
-----Runik likewise dismounts and walks about adjusting his thick leather belt.
-----Brandel draws his black sword and holds it in front of him staring at the ebony weapon. "Quite a curious sword, it is," he mutters.
-----Kazel listens for any more yapping noises and the direction they are going in. After a while, she asks Seth, "What's Albert seeing now?"
