-----Sol flicks Raven a glance before shooting off towards his rooms, emerging a minute later with his equipment as well as his saddlebags. After hearing the answer, Raven rushes off to the stable and picks the best horses he can find. Sol follows the hunter into the stables to aid him in choosing horses.
-----Romney and Abram quickly saddle their own horses while briefly yelling to the two adventurers their own comments on the score of horses in the stables. Bradley and Shema follow in after everyone and hurriedly do their part to prepare.
-----Rinda stands by Raven while he helps saddle a horse for the huntress. She is quiet and a look in her direction reveals an uncharacteristic tense expression on her face. She looks at Raven and then goes over and clasps Sol on the back.
-----With an intense anger tone, she says, "Fear not, Sol! It is a shame that the Hunt calls Seth, Kazel and Dread to be our prey, but prey they shall be! The Hunt has grown but we shall find our horses from WilderHaven and your own strong steed. The Great Hunter shall watch over us and his blessing shall be upon us as we seek the fools that dared to take the Children of the Great Hunter from us. Raven has the heart of the Great Hunter upon him and the prey will not flee long from him."
-----Looking at Raven, the intense look does not fade but her voice softens, "Raven, my Hunter and my Love, I will need to spend some time in the forest when we leave. I have not yet been given the blessings of the Great Hunter this day."
-----The four guards pause, staring at the strangely savage but feminine demeanor of the Huntress.
-----A few moments later, everyone leads the horses out into the courtyard, with Sol also bringing Sarah's white horse. As they assemble across from the keep's gate, Sarah descends from the sky touching down gently on the ground.
-----Sarah shakes her head. "I didn't see anything, but my hopes weren't too high. Let's go then, Raven you lead on and we'll follow."
-----Sol leads Marlexana over to Sarah, before quickly jumping into the saddle of his new mount. "We'll leave by th' same gate as th' thieves, so Raven can start on their tracks early." He says in monotone.
-----Raven pulls forward and yells out, "Quickly to the South Gate!" He rides with great haste out through the Keep's gate. Everyone follows and the horses' hooves seem to rumble down the streets. On the way, people move quickly out of the way to avoid the riders. Other citizens and visitors to the town pause by the building to catch a glimpse of what is causing the commotion.
-----The eight riders roar past the Market Place on its east side and at the end of the block, Sol's horse peels off and heads in a different direction. He yells over his shoulder, "I just have t'check something! I'll catch up in no time."
-----The rest continue on for one more block and suddenly they are there at the South Gate. Fortunately, no peasants or noble are blocking the way, so Raven leads everyone straight through to outside the town walls.
-----Outside the South Gate, a two small trails lead around the town wall, to pick up the roads that enter the town on its east and west side. Immediately ahead are the thick trees of the surrounding forest. There Raven starts the searching for signs of the thieves.
-----While he does, Rinda walks a way into the trees holding her club toward the cloudy heavens. The guards sit quietly steadying the horses as they recover from the quick ride. Romney looks back at the gate waiting on Sol.
-----After a few moments as Raven continues to search the area at the edge of the woods, Sol comes galloping through the town gate. Romney waves to him as he and the others are waiting.
-----Sarah smiles briefly at Sol and signals for quiet, as Raven is concentrating on the task at hand.
-----Raven looks at the ground in front of him. As Raven's gaze goes up to the woods in front of him, he runs forward and crouches down. Raven's hand tracks something in the dirt. He mutters something under his breath and then stands.
-----As Raven moves back towards his horse he says, "They have Thunder for sure. They went into the woods. I think that weird lookin' elf that was with 'em tried to hide their tracks."
-----Raven looks over at Rinda and smiles, "But the Hunter showed me their way as if they were a troop of ogres." Raven swings into his saddle and then continues to follow the tracks with all haste possible.
-----At Raven's mention of Thunder, Sol bristles angrily in his saddle. Determination floods Sol's face when the hunter indicates he can follow the tracks, despite attempts at covering it up. Once Raven begins to follow the tracks, the warrior coldly theorizes, "They'll know we follow them. They'd be foolish if they think we wouldn't, so Rinda...if ye happen t'notice a crow seems t'be either watching us or acting out o' place, shoot it down. I imagine yer th' most likely t'determine which is either one o' yer Hunter's children or a pet belonging to a thief." Sol then nudges his horse to follow Raven's.
