-----Seth dismounts and begins slowly walking towards the group. He calls to Albert to ask him if there are any others near by.
-----He reaches in his pouch for some sand, deciding a sleep spell would be more appropriate if the priest causes trouble!
-----Albert's thoughts indicate to Seth that there are no others about. Just as Seth begins walking forward, Brandel catches up to him. "Take care," the young mercenary says, still shaking somewhat, "that man in the robe is the one that cast a spell on me."
-----Brandel motions to Runik and the dwarf aims his crossbow straight at the older man waiting for a signal to fire.
-----Suddenly, across the way it appears as if Krord makes a grab for Kazel. The butcher, in a lightning quick move avoids the large mercenary, tumbling to her right. As she comes up, she has her short bow quickly drawn. As she releases her arrow, the missile sails across and misses the older man drawing an angry grunt from him.
-----"Good enuff fer me!" Runik growls as he releases his crossbow bolt toward the robed man. The bolt strikes the man in the right side causing him to shout out in pain.
-----As Krord turns toward Kazel again, Brandel yells out to the huge mercenary. Krord suddenly straightens and looks around blinking.
-----Seth quickly drops his handkerchief, although he sees that Runik is way ahead of him. He runs forward until he is sure his sleep spell will work and then sprinkles sand in the direction of the man and attempts to cast a sleep spell on him.
-----The man in the robe begins to turn in the direction of the oncoming musician and the two mercs. Just as the sand leaves Seth's hand, the man suddenly looks up with a defeated look in his eyes. He then tumbles to the ground where he lies still.
-----Runik immediately runs over with his warhammer in hand. He stands over the sleeping man in the robes watching for any sign of movement.
-----The three peasant men begin standing up and backing away from the battle scene. With uneasy expressions, they look as though they could make a run for it.
-----Seth cautiously approaches the man and then asks Kazel, "Do we need to talk to him or should Runik knock him out more permanently?" Seth then begins examining the man's possessions looking for magic items, treasures, curios, and other items of interest.
-----He then looks up at Krord and then Kazel. "No one got our treasure, did they?"
-----Brandel moves over to the wagon, patting the little girl on the head as he moves. Looking over the loot stashed in the back, the young mercenary tells Seth, "It still looks to be all here."
-----Krord shakes his head as if continuing to clear his mind.
-----Kazel looks around at the unconscious man and the other three helpers. "Na, we've been fighting since we got here. Although I'm not sure who. Let's ask these three men and the chap lying over there." She takes out her bow in case they start to run.
-----Seth nods and wonders where the man may have left a spell book. He then shrugs and begins to move to the wagon out of everyone's way.
-----As Kazel draws her bow, one of the men instantly freezes, while another looks unsure to what he may do. The third man then makes a leap for cover behind one of the close shrub bushes.
-----Kazel keeps her bow at hand but doesn't draw it. She calls out to the men, "Come on now, festival's over. Maybe you should tell us who and what you're doing with this dragon."
-----The two peasant men who have not ducked for cover look at each other. Their eyes then alight on the dead body of the spikey-haired rakish man.
-----One of the men quickly mutters, "We wuz tryin' to skin enuff o' this dragon fer some armor fer Jim." As he looks away from the body, he adds, "Guess he won't be needin' it now."
-----Runik and the Dread Pirate curiously approach the large dead form of the dragon, watching how the sun gleams on the blackish scales.
-----"And where's Jim coming from? What about this fellow in the robes here then?" As she asks, Kazel approaches the sleeping robed man to tie him up before he wakes up.
-----Seth looks around and says, "Jim, would be a hero then? Especially to have needs for armour constructed of Dragon hide?"
-----"Ah . . . , we all's from the town," the peasant replies. As he looks at the sleeping robed man, he adds, "We don't's knows 'bout him. He jest kinda showed up."
-----Looking back at Seth, the peasant says, "Don't knows 'bout that. He jest wanted some draggin' hide."
