-----Lovan raises his warhammer and shouts out, "Fear the Rager!" One of the warriors suddenly wheels his horse around causing it to bolt back toward the distant keep.
-----Sol raises his sword and yells, "Thunder! Ho!" as he spurs his warhorse forward. The adventurers now face about seven remaining from the troop.
-----As Thunder approaches one of the rallying soldiers, the young Gorian calls out, "By the grace o' th' Stormlord!" The Lathanian blade quickly sends the opposing fighter off his horse and to the ground dead.
-----Miraculously, as if on cue to Sol's call, a darkness grows overhead where a small collection of stormy clouds collect out of the clear air.
-----As the last half dozen riders look around, still defiant but surprised at the quick turn of events, the Storm Priest smiles widely. "Stand ye back!" he warns the adventurers as he raises his warhammer, "Those inside Lady Sarah's webs are about to feel the Rager's Wrath!"
-----As Sarah's creepy cloak settles about her petite body like it usually does, the darkness seems to leave her eyes. Sarah point at one of the riders that is still standing and waves a hand under her accusing finger while calling out clearly an incantation.
-----She pauses to gauge the effect... which she sees is first a look of confusion on the rider's face.
-----"Quickly my friend, to me!" Sarah beckons the rider to her side. "These people wish to befriend no one, only over here can you be safe."
-----With that, the warrior looks at his fighting companions and then obediently rides over to the Lord Wizard's daughter. The warrior looks at Sarah with a strange expression as if trying to recognize her.
-----Raven looks up at the coming storm. Raven shakes his head and yells to the six fighters that are not in the web, "I'd run away if I were you." With that, Raven lets loose two more arrows at those six fighters.
-----Either oblivious or uncaring to the coming storm, Sol rides towards the half-dozen rallying riders. His longsword, held aloft, indicates the Gorian's decision on their fate.
-----Raven quickly drops two more of the riders, one obviously dead and the other badly wounded but still breathing.
-----With but a trio of the enemy left, Sol rides forth toward them as they look to take a defensive position. One warrior quickly swings at the mounted Gorian striking nothing but air. Sol quickly thrusts his blade into the rider's chest. As the man falls from his horse, the final two riders look as if they are ready to ride back to the east.
-----At that moment, a tremendous blast of energy flashes into everyone's consciousness. In the space of a breath, the deafening sound and bright light is gone, leaving ears ringing and causing many of the horses to want to bolt.
-----The adventurers quickly gain control of their steeds before their attention is drawn to Lovan. There the Storm Priest stands with a wide smile on his face. Across from him are the smoldering remains of the destroyed warriors and their horses, still now in the melted remains of the web spell.
-----The last two warriors ride as hard as their horses carry them toward the castle in the distance.
-----Sol follows the retreating pair, pushing Thunder as fast as the warhorse can go.
-----"Worry not, old friend," Sarah cautions the horseman next to her. "All will become clear as soon as the enemy is dispatched." Sarah lifts her hand idly and blasts three golden missiles in the direction of one of the fleeing riders.
-----Raven yells at the two fighter riding away, "Told you to run, didn't I?!" Raven fires two more arrows and then takes off after Sol.
-----As Sol tears out after the fleeing horsemen, the golden missiles streak past him. The magic then strikes one of the retreating warriors throwing him to the ground. His horse continues on long after his body limply hits the ground.
-----Both of Raven's arrow rush past Sol on his left side striking the other horseman and, likewise, causing his deceased body to fall off his horse.
-----Sol pulls Thunder up and sees no motion from the bodies as he inspects them.
-----Close by the burnt and foul odorous webbing, Lovan raises his warhammer, looks toward the sky and seems to be in a slight reverie.
-----Rinda almost looks astounded at the quick demise of the enemy troop, but manages a proud smile as she stands by Raven. She gives a wary eye to the horseman next to Sarah.
-----Garrison looks around the battle scene and seeing no other aggressive enemy stares toward the castle structure in the distance. As the sun sinks toward the late afternoon, he simply asks ominously, "This night or tomorrow?"
