-----An impressed expression crosses the Lady halfling's face. "Very well," she says, folding her hands, "How soon can you start for the Town of Oakwood?"
-----Seth shrugs and wanders around the room looking for something that may be of interest in his shop, and then answers Mitan, "We can leave soon, so once you have handed over some cash we will be off."
-----"So my little enticement from last night is still not enough?" Lady Mitan asks, smiling and raising her eyebrow.
-----She then points to the warrior guard and then waves her hand toward the Dread Pirate. The warrior pulls forth a pouch and tosses it toward Gimplefwick.
-----"That should carry you through the first day," Lady Mitan says. "It will take you the better part of a day to reach the Town if you follow the road on through Visp. I have given you your first day's payment. That should allow you to secure your own base of operations, as it were. I shall remain here. When you get my ruby for me, you can find me at the other inn here in the village. I shall have your final payment waiting for you. If I do not hear from you within the week, I shall assume you have failed."
-----Lady Mitan sits back in her chair looking as though she is finished with explanations.
-----"Not really an enticement," Kazel says as she idly picks at her clothes, not looking up or particularly interested with doing business with the Lady. "But, might as well have some more if that's the only motivation."
-----Dusting herself off, she looks eager to get some fresh air. "Are we off then?"
-----The Dread Pirate stuffs the loot bag into his backpack, then says, "Aye, we're done here. Unless someone else has a question they'd like to ask."
-----The Dread Pirate waits for a moment, then begins walking towards the door.
-----"Very well," Lady Mitan says sitting back in her chair, "I will bid you farewell until I see you next."
-----The rogues then exit quickly out of the room and head down the hall. Through the small front room they head toward the open door.
-----Just outside the door stands a young man wearing a floppish hat and fancy clothes. A thin bladed sword hangs at his side from a sash around his middle. The man appears to be speaking to four other male humans who seem to hang on the words of the dandy.
-----The man seems to be standing almost in the way of the exiting rogues.
-----"It is my opinion," the young man is overheard to say, "that once we reach Oakwood, we shall secure their finest wines and while the time away with the sweetest of ladies by our sides."
-----Seth smiles at the group and nods at the foppish young man. "May I compliment you on your attire? It is very becoming. I could not but help to overhear your conversation. If you are journeying to the town of Oakwood for pleasure we may be able to help you out. When you arrive there, ask for Zhantar. Although he and his ilk dress up and pretend to be Priests they really run the best brothel in town. Called the Randy Priest!! Every one likes to have their pretensions, don't you know?"
-----He smiles and proffers the men 10 gold pieces. "Please take these, and spend them on the best whore they have in town. Ask for the Lady of the night, Sarah!!! If she is not available, you may like to try the Devilish Enchanter Rinda. Just tell them Sol sent you."
-----He is just about to turn away and continue on when he adds the following warning, "They may try to keep you out, you know just try and service the locals, but you demand to be let in, and you tell them 'Sol sent you to fondle the merchandise.' And after that if ole Zhanter is still playing hard to get, bend him over place a gold coin between his buttocks and whip your rapier across it several times. He will be very, very appreciative if you know what I mean?"
-----He elbows Dread in the side and adds, "Is that not right, brother Raven?" He winks and strides along toward the wagons.
-----"What mockery is this?" the young dandy asks Seth with a shocked look on his face. "Do we, sir, look like a group of simpleton rubes to you?"
-----A reddish tinge comes over the fair face under the floppish hat. The blue eyes seem to blaze and, with the very light straw-colored hair that runs down his shoulders, provide an interesting contrast in colors. The other young men with the fancy fellow seem for the moment a bit amuse by all this. All four of their number hides smiles with hands or fight to drown giggles.
-----Just then, a rumble of wheels is heard as the wagon comes around the side of the inn. Runik sits in the driver's seat with Krord, Brandel and the little girl in the back with the covered treasure. The dwarf seems to cling on for dear life while the three in the back fight to maintain their balance.
