-----"Oh, be quiet, Sol." Sarah says, wearily. "We're stopping here and healing you. Need any help, Rinda?" She continues in what she hopes is a tone that sounds authoritative. She wonders how Alber is enjoying the money she left behind while he wasn't looking.
-----Sol looks to the hunter for help, "Raven, you understand, yeah? Ye can't go around healin' every little scratch ye get, or ye run out o' healing. I mean it, I'm fine." He looks around smiling, happy with his explanation and confident that everyone will accept it.
-----Raven looks towards town, "Do we need to go into town or can we start heading towards the ogre lair? I'd like to start towards the ogre lair."
-----Raven looks over to Rinda, "Does Sol need to see Zan for his wounds or can you and Sarah take care of him?"
-----"It wouldn’t hurt for Zan to use any other healing spell he may have, I cannot cast more this day," Rinda says. Then she quickly turns to the young warrior, faking a look of anger, and adds, "And it won’t take long, Sol! No matter what you say, that bite slowed you down a bit and if the spell doesn’t fully heal you, it will at least add to your strength."
-----Smiling, the huntress says, "After that, I suppose we can hunt the ogres. Sarah and I will do our best to attend to everyone when they need it."
-----Looking at everyone, Rinda asks, "Is there anything else anyone needs here from the village? Are all of you wanting to look for the ogres tonight?"
-----Glancing at Sol, the huntress can’t help ribbing the warrior one last time. "I suppose you’d ride through a whole field of those spiders just to let those ogres taste your steel."
-----Albert, standing on Seth’s shoulder, caws loudly.
-----Sol frowns in disappointment at Raven, for the hunter obviously had not understood Sol's impeccable logic. The frown only deepens, and this time for real, at Rinda's last jibe. Unwilling to debate in his own favour, he simply answers, "Yes."
-----"Raven, if ye want t'head on t'the ogres now, I don't mind." Sol looks around at the others, wanting their opinions.
-----Raven gives Sol a "What did I do wrong?" look and then says, "Okay, let’s stop into town and head out in the morn towards the ogre lair." Raven looks around at the group, "Is that okay with everyone, excluding Sol of course." Raven gives Sol a slight grin.
-----Sol just huffs in reply and busies himself with watching the trail.
-----Sarah looks at the sun. "We got two hours of daylight left, that's more than enough time to deal with some ogres. Come on guys, you're not scared are you?" She asks. "Oh well, maybe just me and Sol will go after them, then."
-----"Does no one understand what I say?" Sol asks slowly, "Yes, I want t'go after th' ogres, but th' same goes for all th' other bloody things we have t'do. Though we may not need t'stop, there's a preference among the group t'do so. I have no problem wi' that." He looks over at Raven calmly to show he hasn't taken any offense, despite the apparent exasperation.
-----Turning to Sarah, he adds, "Yeah, we could deal wi' th' ogres in the time left, but only if we all went. If only th' two of us attacked th' lair, some might escape. We wouldn't be able to cover th' whole area. Ye need numbers, t'take numbers down." Obviously the thought of being taken down by the large creatures has crossed Sol's mind.
-----Seth looks straight at Sarah. "Yeah I'm scared, I'm always scared. But I'm there at the back, backing you guys up. Well, I have so far! If we need to go to town that would be splendid. We could have a warm repast and clean up a bit. Sol's clothing has some soiling that could be removed by a friendly washer woman, I am sure."
-----He whispers to Albert and then adds, "But of course I am ready and rested and not too soiled myself, so I am ready to follow on to the bandits or ogres. I'm not to excite about undead though, they really make me feel like digging a big hole and hiding."
-----The Dread Pirate looks askance at Sol and Sarah, "Aye, you two go off and fight the ogres by yerselves. Then, when Sol has his relapse and flops over dead, ye can fight the ogres by yerself. One night in town won't hurt us and may help Sol, just in case he isn't fully healed and is too dense to realize it."
-----Sarah makes a pouty face and looks off in the direction of the ogres. "Okay, okay, okay, we'll go back to town then. But tomorrow we definitely go after them."
-----Sol grins at Dread and replies, "Now, now Dread. No need t'be snippy. We've already said we wouldn't go off." He looks to regard his surcoat momentarily, before offering Seth the same grin. "There is NO way I'd make anyone else wash this."
-----Raven says, "Okay then, let’s head into town and get a good night’s rest. Then we leave in the mornin' to kill us some ogres. Sound good to everyone?"
-----"Sounds right." Sol agrees, then muses, "Then I guess it's either the tomb, or Oakwood..."
-----Sol twists in his saddle to regard Seth, Dread and Kazel in turn, and asks, "I've been meaning to ask ye all about this fer a while. What can ye tell us about Woder? Ye obviously had a run in with the sod at some stage..."
