-----"Here in Rushfen? No. This is my first time here, an' outside o' Lovan, I've had limited contact wi' others. Is there a problem that I'm not aware of?" Sol answers guardedly. It was the truth, but something in the Lord Marshall's tone made the young warrior feel uneasy.
-----The Lord Marshall's face remains dark as he answers Sol about the Stormragers first. "We have found it best to be cautious around those who revere the Rager," he begins. He then casts an apologetic expression before continuing, "We have usually found them to be unpredictable at best. However, you are the first one that I have met that has gained the approval of Lord Howrun's men."
-----Sol nods when he mentions the Stormrager's unpredictability, though his tone is firm, "It seems Strator draws all sorts to him. Though worship is very much down t'th' individual, from what I've seen."
-----After hearing Sol's response, Lord Lone then says, "What more can you tell me of your mage? Lady Evalyn is a mage and seerer herself, so she would be especially interested in one using the mystic arts."
-----Talking about Sarah on the other hand, made Sol flush with love and pride, "Sarah is a mage o' incredible will, quick t'action wi' th' power an' knowledge t'back it up. Back us all up. An' her skills have grown so much o'er th' last two months . . . But I guess that's understandable wi' th' amount she's used against our foes. I'm sure Sarah would be overjoyed t'make th' Lady Evalyn's acquaintance . . . She's eager fer th' chance t'learn as much as she can about, er, those arts. Is that enough? Perhaps if ye ask more specific questions?"
-----Finally, the Lord Marshall asks, "Your guards are from Oakwood. Do all of you hail from the Estate of Hearthorn?"
-----As to Cedric's last question, Sol replies with a shrug, "Honestly, I do not know where Lovan an' Garrison originally grew up, but we encountered an' had both join us in Redmarsh. Th' others are from Hearthorn. I hail from Goria myself."
-----He sits patiently after answering the questions, not concerned about having to reply, but definitely curious at the amount of them.
-----After listening to Sol speak of Sarah, Lord Lone gives off an impression of recognition as he says, "Ah, would she be of any chance the daughter of the Lord Wizard of Hearthorn?"
-----Before Sol responds, the Lord Marshall motions to one of his guards and tells the Gorian, "Forgive me, I have been rude. Can I get you and your companions food and drink?"
-----When the Lord Marshall mentions food, Sol smiles respectfully and declines, "Thank you, no. Th' Lord Howrun has kindly provided fer our time here." As Sol speaks of Sarah, he looks over at the man Cedric Lone gestured to, wondering if the man was about to see to food, or something else, "Yes, Sarah is Lord Wizard Zepharon's daughter."
-----A smile then forms on the Lord Marshall's face. "Lady Evalyn will be most pleased with you and your courageous companions. She will want to meet with you as soon as possible. How soon will you and your companions be available?"
-----"After we've finished here perhaps?" Sol suggests, "I will ask my friends, with your leave."
-----"Lady Evalyn has already indicated to me, you and your companions may meet with her at her tower whenever you are ready," Lone replies. "Oh," he adds, "please bring those of your party who are not with you now."
-----Sol stands and nods to the Lord Marshall and the Gorian heads back to the table and says, "Th' Lady Evalyn apparently wants t'meet us. I said I'm free after we've had our fill here. How about th' rest o' ye?"
-----When Sol tells his companions of the invitation to meet with Lady Evalyn of Rushfen, the hunters are open to it.
-----Raven smiles as Rinda says, "We would be pleased to meet the ruler of such a place open to the ways of the Hunter."
-----The three guards from Oakwood also indicate their desire for the meeting out of respect and for the purpose of representing Sir Greene of Oakwood.
-----Garrison is the only one who winces perhaps because of the injuries he had received over the last few days. "Just when I thought we would get a chance to rest longer," he says, although he makes to move out whenever the others are ready.
-----Lovan maintains a neutral expression and finally says musing, "Perhaps she will wish to hear of how we vanquished that green dragon a few days ago."
-----"Well then, let's eat an' drink our fill, then head an' collect Sarah. Cheers, my friends." Sol raises his mug and takes another pull.
