-----Raven smiles at Rinda, "This is more to my liking." Raven takes a drink from his mug of water and then turns to Lord Howrun, "Lord Howrun, how strong of presence does the Hunter have in these parts?"
-----Sol happily busies himself with the meal. Using his bread as a plate, he heaps it with both meat and vegetables and proceeds to break bits off and consume them hungrily. Occasionally he offers Sarah a choice piece of game or vegetable.
-----"Why," the Lord of Silvergard replies to Raven with a wide smile on his face. "Do you not see around you?" He gestures with wide-open arms. "The Silver woods are prime hunting grounds! Though many live within the woods there are many untouched virgin glens that only the small sylvan races know of. Hunting is not a sport as in some of the other Estates, but it is a way of life here."
-----"You have come back, MiLady!" comes a small gentle voice at Sarah's elbow. Turning the young mage sees the two small elven girls standing beside her chair. One holds a boutique of colorful spring flowers and their light blond hair glistens from their time in the rain. They greet the Lord Wizard's daughter with sweet smiles.
-----As they hold out the flowers for Sarah to take, Lord Howrun grumbles at the interruption. "Come back?" he says with a confused look. Then a recognition comes into his eyes and he laughs as he tells the girls, "No, my little ragamuffins, this is not the Lady Evalyn. Now scamper off and let these good people eat!"
-----The elven girls still hold the flowers out for Sarah but look at her in a curious way.
-----Sarah smiles nicely at the little elven girls and kneels down to look at them eye to eye. Speaking elven flawlessly she tells them, "If you picked these flowers for Lady Evalyn I cannot accept them, I am not she. My name is Sarah Night." She glances at the little girls happily. "I would like the flowers though if you don't mind me taking them." She finishes, almost laughing.
-----Raven nods, "Aye, Lord Howrun, I can see the spirit of the Hunter is strong here. I would like to explore these woods here." Raven takes a drink of water and then shows a slight smile, "But that will have to wait for now, for the hunt continues." Raven takes a bite a food and looks over to two girls with the flowers. Raven watches in silence as Sarah speaks with the girls. Soon Raven's gaze falls to a nearby window. Raven seems lost in thought as he watches the rainfall against the glass.
-----Sol's friendly grin spreads as he regards the girls and he looks slyly at Sarah as he jokes, "Someone who looks similar to Lady Night here, eh? For that alone it would be worth meeting her."
-----Sarah is so happy with Sol's comment that her cheeks flush red momentarily, she whispers something to the elven girls, which sends the little girls into a giggling fit before they run off. Sarah smiles back at Sol but won't reveal what she told them.
-----Lord Howrun's face clouds as Raven mentions the hunt. "Umm," he grunts, "Aye, the Hunter knows Sintor is my prey!" his voice fades as he likewise stares at the rain, a solemn determined expression on his face.
-----The small elven girls flash sweet smiles and giggle as they hand the flowers to Sarah. They then bolt for the door. Just as they exit, they quickly turn and wave at Sarah before heading back out into the rain.
-----Soon the meal is over and after arrangements are made for the horses, everyone is shown to their rooms. Out the back of the lobby, the adventurers are lead to where they stand before the great trunk of the gigantic tree. There they see a stairs built around the tree leading up to the branches and boughs.
-----As they mount the stairs following the innkeeper, everyone sees above them circular platforms supported by natural vines, branches and the great trunk at different levels. Topping the first level, small cabin-like structures are revealed here ringing the outside of the first platform. About twenty structures are seen here on this level and it is obvious that these are some of the rooms of the Inn.
-----Raven and Rinda are shown to one of these rooms with Garrison placed in the room just to the left of theirs. Sol is shown to the cabin on the other side with Sarah placed in her own room between Sol and Romney's. Lovan is taken to a room on the other side of Garrison.
-----As the adventurers' party begins to inspect their accommodations, Lord Howrun is lead up another stairs to a higher platform. As he takes the stairs, he turns and calls out to everyone, "At night fall, meet at the Red Leaf!" He then turns and grumbles to the innkeeper to not put him in a room close to the tree's top.
-----Entering her room, Sarah finds a comfy fairly large room with exposed wooden walls polished so the dark grain stands out. Along the left wall is a large bed with a big goose down mattress and blankets. To the right, a wood stove looks to provide heat during the cooler months. A large wardrobe cabinet sits in one corner. Toward the middle of the room is a table and chairs, but the most amazing sight is from the glass doors that look out from the opposite wall. Approaching the doors, Sarah can see that the doors open out onto a small balcony, giving quite an amazing view of the surrounding forest.
