-----Sarah asks Sir Greene, "Sir, has there been any sign of the minions of darkness at your afflicted temple? If so maybe we could help you out there." She says to Sol and Raven, "We could find some clues there."
-----Sol suddenly grins and turns to the sorceress in order to make an ill-timed joke, but his attention just as quickly snaps back to Sir Greene. His face goes slightly red.
-----"Oh yes, MiLady, there has assuredly been evidence of their arrival in our fair town," the knight answers Sarah with a great look of concern. "Across the town’s Market area, the Glorious Temple dedicated to the Noble god of Justice has been defied by a sinister blackness that grows from the temple’s tower. I would not ask you who has so courageously aided us in our time of need to go there. Three days ago, the most powerful of our fair town’s magi entered the temple tower to stop the growing darkness that threatens our town. She has not returned."
-----"Yesterday, when brave Raven and his lovely companion were here, some of my advisors asked him of his experience with this dark magic. They are now currently seeking to bring an end to this plight on the temple."
-----"By the way," Sir Greene adds as he speaks to Sarah, "in speaking with Raven yesterday, he informed me that he was in the company of the daughter of the Lord Wizard of Hearthorn. It is my pleasure to have you as well as your noble companions in my court even though the current situations with which we must meet under are distressing to say the least."
-----Sir Greene then pauses for comments from his guests.
-----Raven says to Sir Greene, "Truly this is a time that will test us all Sir Greene. Thanks to your priests I feel like my old self again. I can't thank you enough for your help. Your guards are now watching over the keep we took from the dark ones. When we left, they were all in good health and were doing a fine job." Raven looks over at Sol and Sarah, "I'd really like to speak with this Rau'Triel fellow. I've got a gut feeling he'll be most helpful."
-----Sol nods his agreement, "Yeah. I think yer gut's right. I was hoping we were going t'end this sooner, but I suppose it'll take as long as it'll take. A visit to t'Rau'Triel it is." Though this said as a firm statement, Sol still looks at Sarah questioningly, in case she has other wishes.
-----Sol looks back at Sir Greene and says, "Sir, ye mentioned apparitions down at Visp? If we're heading down there and I guess we'll be leaving pretty much straightaway, could ye pass on all ye've heard o' this particular blight on th' area?"
-----Sir Greene replies, "It would seem unproven at this point, but from the woods between Visp and Orans comes word of strange noises in the night and ghostly figures moving among the trees. Some of our fair citizens talk of witches and goblins, however as I said, I cannot validate such talk as real or simply superstitious fear."
-----The Knight of Oakwood looks at each of the adventurers and bowing says, "Forgive me as you have just arrived here and I suspect that perhaps none of you have seen a good meal in the past few days. Would you allow me to have my staff prepare you a midday meal for you before you decide to journey on?"
-----Sarah realizes the truth in Sir Greene’s words as he speaks them. "Actually I am quite famished." She admits, ignoring the knight’s reference to her father. "After we eat we can go talk to the man in the village."
-----"Well and good." Sol adds happily upon Sarah's decision, "Thanks fer yer hospitality then, Sir Greene. A prepared meal would be greatly appreciated." This is complemented with a beaming smile. The warrior seems to be looking forward to the meal as much as the coming battle with the Dark.
-----Raven nods, "Thank you Sir Greene, that sounds good."
-----The adventurers are lead to a side room off of the main hall. The room features a large table and the open window lets in air that seems to refresh everyone as they sit in comfortable chairs. It also gives everyone a chance to relax somewhat with all the dire and excited talk going on in the Great Hall.
-----Sir Greene excuses himself saying that if anyone needs his assistance, he is in the next room conferring with his advisors.
-----Soon, servants and maids appear bringing a delicious meal including meat, vegetables and rolls.
-----As everyone begins to eat, Rinda asks, "Now that we know where we are going next, what of Kazel, Seth and Dread? We have not seen them since we came to this town."
-----"I'm not real surprised." Sol replies bluntly, "They've probably decided that their own way is better and dashed off. It probably is a better way fer them. Still, it's a shame. Though I admit th' company of Gimplefwick is not...ideal, I'll miss Seth and Kaz." He shrugs before finishing, "If we see them, ask them along. If not, get on with our mission."
