-----Sol ascends his head slightly, in the same manner he did before and replies, "Thanks again, Sir Greene. We'd best be on our way. We'll try and keep ye informed o' our progress." With that said, he turns and waits for the others to leave with him.
-----The four adventurers enter into the Great Hall with Sir Greene and the Knight assigns an advisor to them to escort them out to the courtyard. "Take the greatest of care, my friends," Sir Greene says, "When you get to Visp, do not hesitate to ask assistance from any of Oakwood’s troops that you come across. You will find the gates to my keep always open to you and I pray you will return soon to rest here within the safety of its walls." With that, Sol, Raven, Sarah and Rinda exit the hall while the advisors descend on the Knight of Oakwood with questions, advise and general noise.
-----In the courtyard, four guards wearing studded leather are seen leading their horses around from the stables. The advisor hails them and ushers them over. After introducing the adventurers as the ones who the guards are assigned to, the advisor leaves to go back inside.
-----Sol introduces himself to the guards and asks them their names. One of them a strong looking man named Romney has a mane of matted dark brown hair and beard. His good natured smile calms any uneasiness about the grim look he otherwise has with his heavy brow.
-----Another guard, whose name is Bradley, stands tall and slim of frame. His handsome face is frame with long blond hair and a short mustache.
-----Abram, another guard holds a serious look on his face. His green eyes belie a sharp and keen mind and his manner seems to hold respect for everyone. His hair is black and close-chopped. His features seem unremarkable except for a scar that descends his face from his left eye down to his chin.
-----Finally the last guard does not reveal her identity until she pulls a leather cap from her head. With hair shaved close to her head, the guard the others introduce as Shema simply nods with a scowl on her face.
-----Sarah nods to the guards nervously as they are introduced. She hasn't a clue how to introduce herself to them, or if they would even acknowledge her if she did. "My name is Sarah Night." She says simply.
-----Raven calls for everyone to mount up and the entire company rides from the gates of the keep. Out into the street they ride, moving through the crowd.
-----Moments later, the adventurers and their new guards pull up in front of the tavern they first saw when they entered the town. Leaving the guards outside, Raven, Rinda, Sarah and Sol walk in the building.
-----The tap room inside seems warm and inviting with the interior featuring a nice bit of woodwork. Four dark wood tables dominate the place halfway filled with patrons. The young male barkeep looks up as the four people enter. With a quick glance about the place, there seems to be no sign of Kazel, Seth or the Dread Pirate.
-----As the group goes in the bar, Sarah has an urge to order a glass of wine...but no, that didn't go so well last time. Her hand drops to her money pouch and she realizes that she could buy a lot of wine for all the money she has...
-----Sol merely relaxes as he leans back against the doorframe. Though like Sarah's touching of her money pouch, Sol's fingers on his right hand unconsciously fidget almost continuously, a reaction to being in a tavern for a purpose other than socializing and drinking.
-----The barkeep moves closer to the edge of the bar as the four enter. He looks questioningly at Sol and then at Sarah. He then asks, "Can I get you a drink?"
-----Raven says to the barkeep, "Good day, did you see a halfling that was with a dandy and tough lookin' woman? They would have stop in just a few hours ago." Raven scans the room as he speaks to see if there is anyone reacting to his question.
-----The barkeep’s brow furrows with a frown and then his eyebrows rise with recognition. "Yeah," he says slowly, "yeah, I remember the halfling. He was dressed up strange like and ordered rum, sat right here at the bar. The dandy that was first with him asked if he could play music in here. I told him no. I don’t like freeloaders in my place. He left and then a little while later the woman came in and talked with the halfling. Then the dandy comes back and they all leave together."
-----Rinda continues to look around the room as Raven listens to the barkeep but none of the patrons react oddly to their presence.
-----Raven rubs his chin and says, "Hmmm, they just took off huh?" Raven produces a gold piece and slides it towards the barkeep. Raven says, "Thank you for the help." Raven turns towards Sol and Sarah, "I'm ready to return to the hunt when you are."
-----Sol nods as he nudges himself off the doorframe and turns to leave the tavern. Once outside with the others, he comments, "Well, we tried. Maybe if we're lucky, we'll bump into them." Sol then mounts up on Thunder, ready to leave for Visp.
