-----Zentil stabs in at the undead rat facing him and the thing jerks causing the elf to miss. Sarah throws one of her darts at the dog thing and her missile misses, ending its flight sticking out of the ground.
-----Raven slashes at another dead animal and his sword shatters the thing, sending its bones flying. A small decayed rat leaps at Amythiel but she quickly steps back out of its way.
-----Two more creatures approach Sol and he turns his sword in a sweeping motion destroying the one he had chopped in half and shattering a second. The third one ducked missing the low swing.
-----Raven pivots as another dead animal sweeps the air with its bony paw. Its attack misses him. Standing almost parallel with the thing, Raven simply thrusts his sword arm down breaking and destroying the small monster.
-----Sarah throws two darts at the still stalking menace. One dart strikes the thing’s collarbone, breaking one of its extremities off. The second dart strikes the skull and penetrating it continues to shatter its spine. The critical hit completely destroys it!
-----The thing facing Zentil misses him again, but to his left the last dead creature opposing Sol stabs in with its wretched claw. The bony thing stabs the young man’s leg injuring him.
-----The others suddenly hear Amythiel loudly proclaim, "In the name of Great Solarius, Keeper of the Light of the Faithful, I command ye turned!" Just as the adventurers hold their breath with new hope, their hearts sink as the undead things seem unaffected!
-----Thalog connects with his staff against the rib cage of the decayed animal by him. It does some damage to the thing, but it turns to face him again.
-----At that moment, the live animals that were convulsing on the ground begin scampering off out of the area. Out of the corner of their eyes, the party can see ordinary squirrels, rats, and moles fighting to flee. For a moment, confusion reigns as most of the birds that fell to the ground suddenly take flight in one frightened flock.
-----Suddenly, the two skeletal warriors begin walking toward the fighting group of adventurers.
-----Raven looks at Sol, "Ready to finish 'em off?" Raven tries to wait until Sol is ready as he wishes to attack the two skeleton warriors with Sol. However, one of the bone men turns and starts for the ranger. Raven slices crosswise at the thing splitting it from the collarbone up away from the rest of its decayed body. Its still intact head and arms land at Raven’s feet. As he slashes down at it, the skeleton parries his attack.
-----The undead creature facing Sol swipes at the young man missing him. Annoyed at being hit by this creature, Sol tries to finish it off before leaping in to attack the skeletal warriors. His swing misses the creature as it reacts with cat-like reflexes. Suddenly Sarah is there at his defense. She deftly throws three of her darts. Two of the darts find their mark and slow the thing somewhat, but it turns to attack Sol again.
-----The other skeleton warrior swings at Raven, but he ducks out of the way.
-----The small bone beast facing Amythiel leaps at the priestess striking her arm. She lets out a stifled groan as she is injured.
-----The top half of the skeleton Raven battles suddenly swings and connects, critically hitting one of his legs. Raven can feel the weapon cut deeply into his left calf muscle, badly injuring him.
-----The decayed thing Thalog faces misses him. The mage returns a thrust with his staff and the weapon crunches in some of the bones. It jumps back and still faces off against him.
-----The undead rat thing jumps critically striking Zentil in the upper leg. The elf tries to strike back, but the small skeleton leaps off him. Zentil is hurt!
-----Pitting all of her strength into a heave, Amythiel swings her morning star toward the ground. The weapon completely crushes the bone rat.
-----Raven snarls, "Son of a bitch!" and then tries to finish off the half skeleton. With his left hand, he slashes down breaking into the bones around the skull. The thing collapses at his feet. He then turns his attention to the second undead warrior. Raven’s new weapon rips down and across its front, breaking bones and ripping worn armor as it goes. The undead horror falls back, only its skull still animated.
-----The decayed thing facing Thalog snaps at him, but misses as the mage moves.
-----Sarah stands near Sol and launches three darts toward the menace that devils him. The first dart she throws actually takes out one of its hind legs. As she throws the second one, she accidentally throws it in a clumsy way that hurts her hand in the motion. The dart goes wide of its mark. Her last throw also misses and afterward she rubs her hand to work the kink out.
-----Sol angrily yells as he swings his sword at the nuisance. The undead creature draws back avoiding the attack. Sol quickly reverses the motion of the sword and connects with the thing’s body. As he follows through with his swing, the creature’s body disintegrates throwing dust and broken bone toward the trees.
