-----She then sits back in her chair and crosses her arms. She pulls the string she had her hair tied back with out and lets her long curly blond hair fall down about halfway down her chest. Then she looks back at Thalog and waits for his reply. The girl’s beauty is stunning.
-----Sol quietly makes his way over to the guards and introduces himself, and begins to make small talk.
-----Raven puts away his bow, rest his back against a wall and listens to the conversations.
-----Raven seems to hear something of interest. He walks toward the blonde girl, "Hello, my name is Raven. Sorry, but I didn't catch your name. Anyways, I've got a question. What's so important about those gems. I think since we risked our lives to get them, we should know what they are about."
-----Raven sits down near the girl as she speaks.
-----The girl grins at Raven, "Yeah I know, I saw you fight that guy who kept calling you a half-orc. I was cheering you on the whole time. My name’s Sarah Night. Just call me Sarah. The gems, the gems." Sarah sighs and rubs her brow, "Honestly, I have no idea what they are. My Father thinks they have something to do with the mad god’s return or something like that. I don't know. All I know is that he needs them to find out."
-----She turns back to Thalog, "So what do you say?"
-----Amythiel turns to Rand and smiles. "Actually, the Sun Lord wishes to speak with you. He sent me here to ask that you return there to see him. And I am to take your place here." She pauses a moment. "That is all that I know, but he made it clear that the matter is of great importance."
-----A look of shock passes over Rand’s face, then he looks at the floor and slowly nods. "There are possibly two reasons I can think of, why he could be sending for me."
-----He turns with Amythiel toward the rest of the people inside the keep. "My friends," he announces, "Amythiel has told me that the Sun Lord Jacian Dawnrider has requested that I return to Hearthorn on a matter of great importance. I will leave at first break in the morning. Amythiel is to take my place here."
-----Suddenly, Broactor turns from the arrow slit and faces the group. A great roaring takes place and for a moment, the others are not sure if it was from some forsaken animal outside or the Priest of the Hunt himself. His eyes pick up the flicker of the fire in the great fireplace and he proclaims, "THE CHILDREN OF THALES ONCE AGAIN CRY OUT TO ME IN THEIR PAIN! SO IT IS, THAT I MUST LEAVE FOR WILDERHAVEN! YOU WILL ALL BE STAYING HERE FOR THE NIGHT! YOU MUST REMEMBER NOT TO LEAVE THIS PLACE, FOR IF YOU DO, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN PERIL!"
-----With that, the priest bounds for the door, exhibiting something almost feline in his motions. He throws the door open and runs into the night.
-----As the Priest of the Hunt leaves in haste, Sarah stands up and looks around, momentarily forgetting the levity of her request to Thalog. "Shouldn't we go to help him? CAN we help him? Does he always act like this?" She sits back down. "No, wait, I need to know what you're going to do with the gems. And I'd like to know now."
-----Thalog puts his hand to the bridge of his nose while lowering his head and closing his eyes slightly. He then says, "I am very fatigued and none of us can leave this keep till morning, so I will decided then what to do with the gems."
-----"Sounds good to me," Sarah agrees.
-----Raven gets out of his chair, leans forward toward Sarah and snarls, "Don't repeat what that bastard said ever again. Not as long as you want to travel with me." Raven pauses for a moment to make sure Sarah understands how serious he is on the subject. Raven then sits back down on the chair and continues, "What do you mean you saw me kill that bastard? You were there and didn't help us?" Raven gives Sarah an intense look as he waits for her to answer.
-----"Oh Destine," Sarah murmurs, "I didn't mean it like that. I saw it through my father’s crystal ball. Me and him were watching you guys so I would know who to get the gems from. Sorry."
-----Sarah puts her elbow on the table and leans her head against it, clearly embarrassed and sorry for what she said. "I think it’s getting too late for this, we're all tired. Let’s get some rest and discuss things in the morning." She then stands up and asks for where she will sleep.
-----Amythiel watches in bewilderment, looking from Sarah, then back to Raven, with a very perplexed, worried look on her face. "I'm beginning to feel I'm the only person here who doesn't have an idea what nearly any of this is about." She sighs, her green eyes studying Raven's face uncertainly. "Could you please explain it to me?"
-----Sol gets up from where he was seated and walks over to Thalog. "Thalog, you do seem very tired indeed. I feel fine. How 'bout I take yer shift tonight as well?"
