-----A bright smile erupts on her face and she almost giggles at the repeated questions the mage asks her. "The stars have not revealed more to me. The insights the blessed Lady of Seers gives to me are usually for no more than one cycle of the moon's phases. The priests of Astron have provided me with a chart of the heavens that might allow us to see more. This, I will examine closely tonight! The key, I took to mean as the beginning of an answer."
-----She gracefully turns, meeting the look of each man and endearing him with an excited twinkle in her eyes. "If each of you wish, by telling me your birth date and by the grace of Lady Destine, I might be able to provide an insight into your own possible destiny! The sky will be clear tonight and the heavens should reveal much!"
-----Thalog then says, "I do not mean to take advantage of your skill in Divination. The answers to these questions could save many lives."
-----She fixes a bright smile on Thalog slightly bowing and slowly blinking her eyes once. The expression seems to communicate understanding.
-----Thalog then pauses for a moment before saying, "Perlas yun culinfini muagusic. Mes'esonlen ofor neiowese anlsi mes'torn worli helopumian acandalias."
-----Shallia replies back to Thalog in the same language. She then looks at Sol and Raven. "Can I count on you two to also be my honored guests tonight?"
-----Sol replies quickly to the lady's offer, "I certainly would be honored to be your guest." After thinking for a second, he laughs softly to himself and continues, "I also think it would be kind of fun to have my destiny foretold tonight...for better or worse. I myself was born on the nineteenth of Dawningtide."
-----Raven seems lost in deep thought while Shallia is talking. Raven looks at Rand, "I should go talk with Broactor." Raven then turns to lady and smiles, "Thanks for the offer, but I need to report in and let my friends know what we've found so far. As for my fortune, I'd rather not know. Takes the fun out of it all knowing what's going to happen."
-----Raven says to the group, "If you like, you can remain here and I'll go see Broactor and then meet you back here in the morning. I'd like to see us stick together, but if you think it's best, then stay here." Raven gets on his horse and waits for the group to decide what they want to do.
-----Sol looks slightly chastised as he says, "I'm sorry, have I spoken out of turn? I told Arliss I would help you...and that means that I shouldn't be helping to split up the group 'cause of my whims. Which reminds me of something Arliss told me before we parted. He said that at some stage you may end up leading me to a temple of Thales, then said he would meet us there in two days from now." He smiles and finishes, "I probably should have remembered that sooner."
-----Raven turns to Sol, "It's okay Sol, the lady's offer is most kind after the last few days we've seen, I won't mind staying here myself..." Raven trails off, "But this evil won't rest, so we must not waste a moment."
-----Raven smiles, "Ain't being good a pain in the ass?" Raven looks quickly over to Shallia and blushes, "Pardon my language, good lady."
-----Raven turns back to Sol, "Arliss is going to meet us over at Broactor's temple? I thought Arliss would be off his feet longer than that..." Raven rubs his chin, "I guess he's stronger than I thought." Raven looks at Sol for awhile, opens his mouth as to speak, but then simply turns away and gets ready to ride.
-----Rand turns to face Raven and says, "I think it would be wise if someone accompanied you to speak with Broactor, but I myself wish to stay here. I have a few questions I wish to ask Shallia. Perhaps Thalog would be willing to accompany you?" Rand glances at Thalog, waiting for a reply.
-----In the end, it is decided that Raven will continue alone to the Temple of Thales and the other three men will escort Shallia to her home. Shallia gives directions to her house to Raven, so he knows how to find it the next morning. He then turns and gallops off up the trail road. The rest of the party mounts up again and rides across the river-bridge into the small village of Tru. As they enter the village, they see a few workers putting away tools and begin the process of finishing up for the day.
-----They follow the road that leads south toward the outskirts of the village. They pass the dwelling of a cooper and then, a small tavern. An odor of oxen assaults their senses as they pass by a large barn. As they pass a few more homes, the number of buildings thins out. On down the road, they veer off the path at Shallia's direction and arrive at a small cottage.
