-----The warrior tries to smile as he offers, "Don't worry. They'll be in good hands soon enough. Just try an' rest, yeah?"
-----Raven shakes his head. "By Hunter, I will not give in this time. If you will not kill these evil monsters, then I will." As Raven gets off his horse he swears a blue steak from the pain. Raven's face shows the pain, but his eyes show nothing but hatred. Raven pauses a moment to catch his breath, but keeps his eyes on the orcs.
-----Sol almost leaps off his horse, landing somewhat awkwardly in his urgency. Fear and worry light up Sol's face as he quickly moves forth to bar Raven's path. With a strangled voice and placating hand gestures he says, "Fine. Ok? Fine...I'll do it. Just bloody well sit down and rest, whilst th' others look at the stone." He flicks a look at Rinda before once again gazing at Raven to ensure that the hunter isn't making his wound worse.
-----He turns around and regards the orcs momentarily before reaching down and fumbling for the dagger rests against his right boot. Slowly he pulls it out and heads for the captured humanoids.
-----Seth is deeply disturbed about what is about to happen to the orcs. "Is it not this type of deep seated anger that is turning the humans against the elves?" he appeals to Sol. When it appears no one will listen to him, Seth heads up the hill where the others prefer unknown mayhem than watching slaughter of innocents.
-----The Dread Pirate suddenly charges down the hill, arms windmilling rapidly at his rushed descent, yelling at Sol, "Ye crusty barnacle! What do ye think yer doin with me prisoners? Killin those prisoners back at the keep seemed necessary at the time, but this is just the killin of the helpless. They pose no threat and we can simply turn 'em over to the authorities in Oakwood fer proper justice."
-----Rinda speaks up loud enough for everyone to hear. "It is Raven’s path with the Great Hunter. Raven has seen the death and ruin the orcs have brought, even to those who live in WilderHaven. For this, Raven has claimed the orcs as his enemies. So it is, he cannot stand for these orcs to be any less than prey!"
-----The Huntress then tries to usher Raven carefully back up into his saddle.
-----Raven leans against his horse and says in a calmer voice, "Okay...okay. Damn that half-orc bastard for making me so weak. I don't want to push my duty onto you Sol..." Raven lowers his head into his chest causing a shadow to come over Raven's face. Raven shakes his head from side to side as if the shake off the pain, both physical and mental, he is feeling.
-----Nodding in relief to Raven, Sol rather quickly replaces his dagger. He says consolingly, "Don't worry about it Raven. They'll be taken care of soon enough." Just before he looks up at the stone structure to see how Sarah fares, Sol turns a scowl on the pirate and remarks sarcastically, "Thanks fer yer input, Dread. Being after all, such a very eager executioner, I needed to be reminded why I shouldn't kill them now."
-----The Dread Pirate shrugs off Sol's sarcasm, "If'n yer dense enough to act in the same manner as the forces of the Dark, then yer dense enough to need remindin what side yer supposed to be on. If'n ye ever expect to receive mercy, ye better learn how to show it as well. Just because Raven was slow enough to get himself hacked into mutton chops doesn't mean ye have to go wadin in the blood of the helpless. Try thinkin fer yerself next time."
-----The Dread Pirate then turns and heads back up the hill, to reexamine the shrine.
-----As Seth, Sol and the Dread Pirate head up the hill, Rinda says to Raven, "I was looking at the map earlier. The town should not be far now, maybe a mile or two more. If you want we could go ahead and let them follow when they are ready. We need to get you to the healers as soon as we can." The huntress then looks up at the others now atop the hill. She then looks over at Kazel to see what she is doing.
-----Presently, Dread and Sarah return down the hill. Momentarily, they are followed by Seth. While waiting for the party to move on, Seth calls Albert to him and talks to him for a while. He then releases the crow up in the air in the direction of Oakwood.
-----The Dread Pirate discontentedly scratches at his left buttock, then hops aboard his pony.
-----Sarah looks up to the hill to stare at Sol for awhile, wondering what's going on with the young Gorian warrior.
-----Raven slowly turns his head towards Dread. There is fire in Raven's eyes the party hasn't seen unless Raven was facing a foe. Raven growls at Dread, "Shut your mouth or by the Hunter I will. I've taken all I can of your insults. I can take no more. I risk my life for the group and you make light of it." He looks over at the orcs and then to Dread, "I've made an OATH TO THE HUNTER to kill all orcs that cross my path. You would stand in my way to kill these monsters. You are protecting orcs! I have seen the bodies of the women and babes these monsters have killed and raped. All orcs are evil! I will not travel with anyone that protects orcs!!" It is clear that a rage has taken over Raven. Raven turns to Rinda, "Let us return to Broacter so I can heal up. I feel the path I am taking is leading away from the Hunter. I will not lose my way for Dread or anyone else." Raven calls for the wolf and then turns his horse towards Broacter's temple.
