-----Gimplefwick continues, "Whichever one of us goes up first, can stand guard until the next is up. The next two up should be Raven and Sol. Between the two of ye, ye should be able to help haul up the slower, less muscular folk. We'll need to get in there quickly, but quietly. Speakin o' which is everybody goin to be able to climb in their armor? Or should we bundle it up and send it up separately? Anywise, I'll stay til last, to make sure everybody gets up there safely."
-----Seth seems a little bashful at the word 'reticent' but makes up for it with the following, "Well, I am good at climbing."
-----Sarah shrugs at all the talk. "Well first off we need to know more about the castle. Like, how big is it? How many gates are there? Is there a moat? Patrols of guard dogs or something like that that might just interfere with our walking over the castle walls? If not then maybe Gimplefwick has a good idea." Sarah then glances down at her pale skin and bright outfit. "Maybe I should be one of the last over...I'm not exactly stealthily attired."
-----"I can still cast the charm and sleep spells today, as well as a few others." Sarah then turns to Seth and Rinda. "Anyone else have any spells that might be useful?"
-----Sol replies to Sarah, "Castle's tend t'only have th' one obvious entrance, otherwise it makes a keep's defense meaningless. As fer yer other concerns, Sarah, we'll have th' rest o' the day t'check th' place out. That we can make sure o' th' plan, and make our final preparations."
-----Smiling, the Gorian turns to Gimplefwick and continues, "I like yer plan, Dread. An' I think we can make it work. Perhaps when we all get up there, Kaz could stay on the battlements and cover us wi' her bow and her good eyesight."
-----He then briefly looks down at his rather bright armour and adds, "I think I'll have t'wrap something around me t'cut down on glare, but I'm sure I can get up the wall wi' it on."
-----The huntress says, "Before we hunt this night, I wish to give the favor of the Great Hunter to each of you. The moon will rise shortly before the sun sets. Dread is right about concealing ourselves."
-----Turning to Sarah, she adds, "I cannot, again, cast any more healing spells this day. I can remove any enchanted fear we may suffer if we meet the followers of the Dark Goddess. I can also enchant our prey to be held and obey us."
-----Raven quietly listens to the others’ ideas and comments. Raven seems to be thinking over the idea to attack the castle. Raven then nods his head, "Before we try climbing the wall, I want to finish scouting around the keep." Raven glances down at the wolf, "Alone this time. Maybe I can find a weakness in their defenses. If anyone else wants to scout around the keep be warned, their men are good archers and are alert."
-----Sarah gulps at the mention of archers. "That won't be good." She says, rather redundantly, thinking of how she has almost no protection against it. "If only I had my wand back."
-----Sol nods in agreement, "Okay Raven, but...I can't resist saying it. Be careful, yeah?" He then looks at the others, "Anyone else scouting?"
-----Rinda looks at Raven and says, "I will go with you and remain in the brush while you scout. That way I can watch the castle for trouble in case you are spotted."
-----Bidding the wolf to remain with Sol and the others, Raven and Rinda set out toward the castle.
-----After a couple of hours, the two hunters return.
-----Sol looks up at the sun and says, "Well there's still four or five hours till nightfall. Unless ye all come up wi' some other plan, I'm going to go back to watch the place. Just in case some o' them decide t'leave the place. Someone change shift wi' me just before eve' so I can get ready fer our surprise visit."
-----Raven motions for everyone to come over. He kneels on the ground and begins to draw out the layout of the keep in the dirt. Raven says, "Okay, here is the keep and its main gate. Now..." Raven points to the back of the keep, "a small tower was added to the rear of the keep. There are no guards on that new tower and there is a still a wooden post sticking out that we could use to attach a rope to a climb up." Raven stands up, "I think that is our best shot to gain access to the keep."
-----Raven motions towards Sol, "I agree, let’s watch them for the rest of the day and then we..." Raven looks over to Dread, "'storm' the keep when the night is at its darkest."
-----The warrior then turns Thunder around, and the stallion begins to walk back in the direction of the castle.
-----The Dread Pirate flops over on the ground and commences snoring until the others are ready to storm the castle.
-----The huntress speaks up. "The moon will be nearly full tonight, Raven. The cover of the trees will hide us from it after midnight. It may even be darkest just before the twilight begins coming into the sky."
