-----Seth nods at the words from the Curate and agrees with Dread about the healing. "Yes, all of our men could use some healing including myself." He indicates the bodyguards. He whispers to Dread, "So did our friends get to this town or not?"
-----He turns back to the Curate. "As The Magnificant Whispy Beard intimated we shall await the return of our business associate. By the way who dispelled the Globe of Darkness?"
-----Whispering back to Dread, "I dare say it is our priestess who is causing the trouble, succumbed to some control spell I imagine!"
-----The Dread Pirate nods his head at Seth's advice, "Hrrmm, a control spell? Well, if Zharta will give me a description of Ariella, then we can try just blinding her and then tackling her to the ground. As for our friends, yes, they were here in town, but they've gone on to Visp. I imagine we'll be able to catch up to them at some point and rejoice at the reuniting of our happy, little group."
-----Between the whispering of Seth and the Dread Pirate, Zharta answers, "Ariella was wearing her traditional robes, which if my memory serves me correctly, were blue in color with trimmings of silver. As for the woman herself, Ariella is short for a human woman, perhaps being mistaken for one of the elven race. She has dark auburn hair with lighter streaks highlighting it and eyes of brown. Despite her height, she is quick of mind and body and also wise among those who practice the magical arts."
-----In answer to one of Seth’s questions, the Curate continues, "It is Ariella we believe who dispelled the evil darkness that was consuming our temple. She had secured a special scroll, which I might add, was on the advice of one of your associates you referred to. Ariella climbed into the tower and from what we witnessed the globe soon vanished. When our templars began to investigate, they were repelled by something lurking therein."
-----Then, on the instruction of Zharta, paladins and lesser priests move among the roguish pair and their guards offering to heal them. Soon the Dread Pirate stands enjoying the gentle breeze caressing his face instead of making it sting. Likewise all the others who suffered some injury or wound find themselves fully healed.
-----As an overeager paladin approaches Marast, the elf defiantly faces him down scowling while saying, "Marast not hurt! Human not touch Marast!" The young paladin backs off with a shocked look on his face and turns away appearing not to want to draw the elf’s wrath.
-----Runik chuckles and says, "Marast, always the charmer." The elf simply scowls at the dwarf and spits on the ground while Runik continues to laugh.
-----Seth nods. "Not really our associates, but the one you refer to would be a pale woman, daughter to the wizard Zepharon. I assume she indicated that they should use a dispel magic scroll, correct?"
-----"I believe it was a scroll although I do not know its nature," Zharta replies. "I did not meet them as they talked to the court wizard, however, the officials I spoke with did mention that the daughter of the Lord Wizard was among their number."
-----The Dread Pirate thanks the healers as they do their work, "Shiver me timbers, that’s a fair sight better. I'd be hatin to think how the salt breeze out on the ocean would've been stingin me face. Now, I'm restored to me former handsome self."
-----Gimplefwick pauses as he considers Zharta's words and his face twists, "Arrr, ye mean to tell me that those scurvy dogs were here in town and didn't help ye other than to offer advice on the darkness globe? They just rode off on their merry way, eh? That sounds like 'em. They probably demanded assistance from ye as well. That’s bein pretty despicable, in me opinion. Not to mention it’s not bein wise to leave evil at yer back, while ye traipse off somewheres else. Well, don't ye worry none, when Kazel get back, we'll deal with this witch."
-----The Dread Pirate ignores Marast's ill-mannered rebuff of the paladin.
-----Seth hefts the light crossbow and considers it an infinitely better weapon than the sword he collected. He asks Dread, "How long should Kazel be? For I have some items that should be checked as well? They may help here but maybe not."
-----He turns to Zharta and requests, "No one should come up into the temple until we signal or return here and tell you all is clear. There is no need for anymore to die up there."
-----While waiting to pass the time Seth casually asks, "Tell me, has our dear friend Nylan Lotley been through here lately?"
