-----The warrior quickly pauses for a breath, before continuing, "Our main target here, is whoever is causing the Darkness in these woods, which if it's the same as last time, it's that bitch Devlin. Though I'm guessing she's brought in more of her followers if there are more of these gems. So, where do we find her? Kaz had the right idea earlier when she picked up on that location of that tomb. We could try there."
-----"Lastly, I gotta admit, I'm more than worried about the disappearance of children. Are the ogres to blame? The only reason I can see them taking children is fer food, but that seems to be a waste fer them. It's not like the followers of Dark can use them as undead. So why are they being taken? The only other reasons I can think of are rather off in nature, as in the sacrifice kind of way. I don't want to even think about that."
-----Sol looks at each of his companions one by one before finishing, "Any comments, and is there anything else that needs to be brought up? I know this ain't exactly the best place t'talk, but I'm sick of putting off, and waiting."
-----Seth visibly pales at the mention of children being taken. "Children? Did the priest tell you that?" he slowly shakes his head. "Well my only thoughts are that if we split up and this group goes off on its own," indicating Sol, Kazel, Dread and Raven, "You will not have anyone that knows magic. I'm not sure if that matters, but it is something to consider."
-----Raven looks over at Seth, "Seth, aren't you a spellcaster?" Raven pauses, "Well anyways, I think we need to look into who's taking the kids around here. As long as we are here we have to try to save them." Raven turns to toward Sol, "Do you have any ideas where those ogres are holed up?
-----Sol answers Seth first, "I know about the spellcaster problem, which is why I'm leaving the choice of coming up to you. Either help us, or help Sarah's recovery. If we go to the ogres though, we can deal without magic. I'm guessin' ye have more skills than that, though."
-----He turns to Raven and says, "To th' south of this village, lies a ruined keep. We were told further south of there, are two more ruins. One belonging to one group of bandits, the other to the ogres. I assume that if we need to, we can get their exact locations at the keep." Sol raises his eyebrows at the hunter, "Ye'd know more about ogres than I would. Which is no great feat. Would ogres take children like that?"
-----"Did those two tell you who cleaned up the spot where Sarah was found, because someone did a pretty good job of wiping all traces of it," Kazel asks Sol. "Maybe we can try... asking the teamster first." She says indicating the place next to the storehouse.
-----"Other than that, I s'pose we'll just have to find some of these bandits to discuss our problems with. I doubt ogres can tell us too much. What do you think?"
-----Sol grins back at Kazel in reply, "It wasn't questioning I had in mind fer the ogres." Suddenly he narrows his eyes and curses, "Dammit, one o' the workers mentioned that 'Aaron' said he was heading south. I know that's kind of general, but some things are adding a little too close t'gether. I was thinking at the time, that Aaron would've been covering up, but maybe he wasn't. Maybe he was actually speakin' truth."
-----Seth looks at everyone. "Raven, If I stay with Sarah and Rinda to try some magic to help Sarah, is it possible that you and Rinda have some way of communicating? Especially if we want to catch up with you if we can heal Sarah. Sol, you must have some way of communicating with Sarah. You knew she was in trouble when you were rude to the Queen."
-----Sol raises his hands to protest, but lowers them when he realizes he has no real argument. Quietly he says, "I don't have a way o' communicating with Sarah. I don't know why that happened, and I've been thinking about little else this evening. It's...crazy. Anyway Seth, yer right about being rude though. I was kinda worked up. I'll apologize t'Voruna when I next see her."
-----Seth smiles "Oh, um I was not condemning you about being rude, but you know, in Royal circles and all. Anyway I am sure the Queen would enjoy hearing your explanation."
-----"I know ye were'nt condemning me about it, but it's still a fact." Sol returns the smile.
-----Raven shakes his head, "Rinda and I don't have any magic way to talk with each other." Raven rubs the back of his neck, "I hate to say this, but we need to focus on saving the children. The last I heard Sarah was weak, but was out of the woods." Raven turns toward Seth, "What kind of magic are you going to use on Sarah to help her? We'll need you with us if we are going to take on these bandits."
-----Seth shrugs his shoulders. "What Sol and I talked about was this, after I sleep and study, I can try and detect magic on her and her horse. That way we will know if her malady is magical or not. While resting before performing that inquiry, I was going to search through Sarah's own spell book and collection of scrolls to see if there may be a spell that I can use to aid her. Unfortunately most of the spells deal with other matters than aiding the body."
