-----The teamster, a short muscular man with black hair and a beard looks at the four adventurers very cautiously. "Crime? What crime? I just got back home and I’ve been away all day."
-----Kazel looks a little disappointed once she realizes they will be talking to the man. She stands aside and tries not to attract too much attention as Sol converses with the teamster. As Sol is still pulling out his writ, she stops him with a glance and a hand on his arm.
-----When Kazel stops Sol from showing the writ, he puts it away. He also shoots her a guilty glance, seemingly very quick to pick up on other people's disappointment. The young warrior takes a step back, deferring to 'The Butcher of Hearthorn'.
-----Kazel nods her head at Sol towards the man, indicating that's not what she meant. "Go ahead," she whispers. "But I doubt he'll tell us much. I'll check this place out later."
-----Sol nods in understanding and steps back up and speaks to the man, "Have ye seen a man wi' light brown hair and dark riding clothes? He goes by name of Aaron Repe. Perhaps ye've even spoken to him. He claims t'be an explorer o' sorts."
-----"No, I have not met this man," says the man after visibly thinking about it.
-----Sol then says to him, "Fine then. I must warn ye however, that any found in connection wi' this man's activity may be subject to th' same charges he looks t'be facing right now."
-----"I’ll have ye know that I run an honorable business," the man sternly replies to Sol. "Now if ye don’t have any more questions, I’ll thank ye to leave so I can see to my family." The teamster then secures the barn door and begins to walk toward his house. He pauses briefly to see that the adventurers are moving on.
-----Sol, Kazel and Raven then notice that the Dread Pirate is not with them.
-----"Humph. Yeah, that's it Sol. Let's offend the man 'cause ye've got a bee up yer..." Sol stops muttering and speaks up, "All right then, back to th' temple fer me and Raven I'm guessin'." Sol begins to lead Thunder towards the temple, giving the impression that he's going to walk back. Still walking he looks over his shoulder at Kazel and grins brightly, "Don't stay up too late y'hear? Or we'll let the wolf wake ye up if ye oversleep dawn."
-----Raven says in a joking tone, "Sol don't let all this power get to your head now. It won't be long before you'll be havin' us kiss your ring." Raven slaps Sol on the back, "You're okay Sol."
-----Raven says to Kaz, "Meet us at the temple at sun up. We'll then see what Seth has found out." Raven follows Sol towards the temple.
-----"Won't take long," Kazel winks. She then strides off way into the town before heading off in presumably unknown directions.
-----Sol just snorts good-naturedly at Raven's jape, and continues back to the temple in silent thought.
-----After Sol and Raven pass two small homes, they move past the small village well. By this time, all is quiet in the village as all the activity of the people has been moved safety indoors. As they approach the temple they see Sarah’s horse tied to a hitching post. Inside the sanctuary is quiet and they can hear voices coming from the side room where Sarah is. They can definitely make out the voices of Rinda and the Dread Pirate.
-----As Sol and Raven enter the room, they see Sarah lying on the bed, her slumber showing signs of unease. Standing next to the bed are Rinda, Zan and the Dread Pirate. Over to one side seated in a chair is Seth with two opened books. Seth’s attention at the moment happens to be on Rinda and Gimplefwick.
-----Seth says, "Mm yes, that’s right, Phrenology. The Captain has learnt that skill from many years at sea, and don't worry Rinda, I am not a violent person. I would not let him harm the girl."
-----Rinda gives a small smile while looking at the Dread Pirate saying, "Inattention, I think not. Zan and I have used healing spells and Sarah needs to rest through the night. She may be able to speak to us tomorrow though she will be very weak. She needs no other attention and as far as any crafts and secrets, I am staying in this room."
-----Sol looks around at the gathering in Sarah's room. He studies the slumbering mage for a moment, before shaking his head at those taking care of her. Only a quick smile at the group is given before he leaves the room.
-----Seth looks around at everyone. He finally closes the books in front of him. He carefully places two beside Sarah and one in his backpack. He stretches and announces, "Well there was not much in there I can use. But I will sleep now and in the morning, cast a spell that may tell us if she has come under a magic spell. I am sorry, but it was worth a try. I need to sleep now." With that, Seth finds a corner and curls up with his backpack.
-----In her sleep Sarah starts to talk. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me," She says over and over again.
-----Sol soon enters again and sits down in one of the chairs. Looking tired, the young warrior shows concern at Sarah’s sleeptalking and he fights his own tendencies to sleep. Sol looks as if he has the weight of the world on his shoulders.
-----Later, Sol wanders into the sanctuary, checking to see if Kazel has returned. Seeing the half-elven girl asleep in one of the corners, Sol smiles in relief and then returns to Sarah's room.
