-----Gimplefwick holds up his hand for a moment, trying to stay Raven's charge to the building, "Now I'm not sayin we do nothin over this. Just lets leave somethin like this to those that be a bit more adept at the dodgy path. Now, if'n ye want to hang around outside the building, that'd be a good idea. If'n we get into trouble in there, it's a good thing to have somebody on the outside. But let meself, Seth, and Kazel, if'n she's willin, go check out the building first. As fer the witch, we'd best not leave her here with just one guardian either. Two people will have to stay with her. Lets try to stay rational here folks, no flyin off the handle. That'll just get us into more trouble and get more people hurt." The Dread Pirate quickly goes over his gear before leaving the building. Once he's sure everything is in order, he glances at the others to see who is going with him and who is staying.
-----"Sure I'm willing," Kazel replies. "Either way's fine with me. But it's dark out, and I gather I'll be more useful outside than staying here."
-----"Your plan makes sense, though I will leave it to Raven and Sol to agree with you," says Rinda addressing the Dread Pirate. "As for two people staying here to watch over Sarah, I will be here as well as Zan. That way the five of you can search together."
-----"Quite right!" says the priest of Joren as he enters from Sarah’s room. "The young lady in the next room is sleeping but her slumber seems quite fitful. She mentions different names from time to time."
-----As the priest turns from side to side trying to look gallant in his bearing, he almost backs into the Dread Pirate checking over his gear.
-----Sol smiles at Gimplefwick, "Almost everything covered. What's left can be made up as we go along. Like Kaz, I honestly don't care what we do. Let's just get on with it. The sooner we get results the better and yer damn right I'll be waiting outside. If it gets a little hot under th' collar, don't hesitate t'call, and that applies to you two as well." Sol looks at Rinda and Zan, "We don't want t'lose anyone here."
-----Raven nods, "Sounds good. One or more of you can scout the inside of the building and I'll look around outside." Raven turns toward Sol, "Like Sol said we don't want to lose anyone else, so we'll take it easy and not rush into anything. If that sounds good, then let’s get going."
-----Rinda echoes Seth’s question about how Zan had come to the building Sarah was found in. The priest then speaks up, "One of the men who maintain the storage house and one of the stable hands in the teamster’s home next door had found the fallen maiden. They wisely rode to the temple to find me before moving her."
-----Rinda and Zan then wish the rest luck as they leave to further investigate the building. They all mount up on their horses. The Dread Pirate’s pony snorts heavily from the especially hard ride it took back into the village. The gibbous moon hangs nearly overhead as they start across the village helping to shed some light as they ride.
-----The riders cut across the grassy yards around the buildings rather than taking the trail road in order to approach their destination from another way. They quickly pass the residence of a tanner and a leatherworker and then the stables belonging to a teamster. Just beyond the barn, there lies a small clump of woods which leads to the large storage place.
-----As they pull up along side of the building, the riders can see that the large front door is still standing open. Although no wagons are currently unloading, the workers inside can be heard moving boxes and crates around. Inside the building, it is dark although it is dimly lit by torches secured in different spots.
-----Sol moves over next to Raven and says to Gimplefwick, "Ok Dread, point us where you want us."
-----Raven says to Dread, "Looks pretty quiet. Do you want to scout it out first?"
-----The Dread Pirate eyes the storage facility warily, "Arrrr, I didn't expect folk to still be about in there at this hour. What I recommend at this point, is Kazel and meself enter the building in secret and hide ourselves in places where we can keep a good eye on those that be workin in there. Give us about twenty minutes or so to get set, then ye and Raven enter, showing your writ from Hearthorn and demanding their compliance with your investigation into Sarah's injury. Hopefully, if there be anybody suspicious in there, they'll be shaken up by yer direct approach and will try to flee the warehouse afore ye can get to 'em. Kazel and I should be able to see any workers that are actin suspicious. Just in case though, let’s place Seth and yer wolf at the rear of the building, in case someone tries to slip out. Once ye get the workers under control, I'd question 'em and then have' em vacate the building while Raven looks about. I doubt he'll find much in the way of tracks with those workers stompin about in there all day, but its worth a shot. And we might find somethin anyway. Needless to say, if'n anybody gives the alarm, we all come runnin."
-----Raven says, "Sounds good, except for the wolf. He stays with me. He's not that well trained and ..." Raven pauses, "It's just not a good idea."
