-----The Dread Pirate continues, "Now, as to yer idiotic webbing me and leaving me completely vulnerable to everyone on the field, that my dear, was amateurish. I should beat ye within an inch o' yer life just fer that."
-----"Bring it on." Sarah says. "I could lay you flat anytime I wanted. Remember that. If I really got mad there are a thousand ways I could punish you. You've only seen a few of them."
-----"But I wasn't goin to say anythin, as I am at least professional enough to see the big picture and realize that some things are more important than yer foolish behavior. And as amateurs go, none of yer little group has overly impressed me with yer tactical knowledge."
-----"I'm sorry, I gotta interrupt here, Gimp." Sarah says, raising her hand in mockery of his superior attitude. "You said 'Tactics' when you meant 'Sneak up on em and stab em in the back.' Go on, I'm fascinated."
-----"It amazes me that we haven’t been killed already. I'd almost think that Sol over there hasn’t even read Dortmund's Treatise on basic infantry tactics in the field. But at least he's makin an effort and listenin to me suggestions."
-----"And I'd be even more surprised to learn that book actually exists." Sarah retorts.
-----Finally the Dread Pirate smiles at the witch, "And last but not least, if'n I fight ye, ye'll never see me comin."
-----"You won't even feel me." Sarah promises.
-----"And ye'll never realize what hit ye, until ye wake up in Hades. A knife in the back crimps the style of the greatest wizards."
-----"And an enchantment against that stops every thief on the planet." Sarah grins back.
-----"Now why don't ye at least try to grow up a bit, quit wastin everyone's time and do yer stinkin job."
-----Sarah interjects, "I am. That’s why I'm trying to get rid of you."
-----"People's lives are on the line here, and ye seem more concerned with yer precious ego than that fact."
-----"Again, why I'm trying to get you out of the picture so you don't try to 'subdue' any by slashing them apart."
-----"If ye can't even remember that I probably saved yer life back at that inn, then ye can take yer ungrateful hide in that black cloud by yerself."
-----"You didn't do jack and you know it. Chessie woke me up and I ran out the door. You didn't even have to be there."
-----"The way ye act, ye'll get yerself killed soon enough without me havin to lift a finger. And believe me, next time yer life be in jeapordy, I won't lift a finger then either."
-----"You never have and I'm just fine now. I said before I will go in by myself, and I would come out. Now try not to mess anything up when we go in."
-----The Dread Pirate then pulls out his throwing knives, sits down, and commences reapplying a black, tar-like substance to their blades.
-----The Dread Pirate rolls his eyes at Sarah's continuing inanities, "What the hell is the matter with you!?! Are you incapable of realizing how wrong you are? Everyone in the party recognizes you for the problem that you are, but you still pigheadedly insist that yer right. Fine. Since ye are so obviously a buffoon, I seriously doubt ye have the magical power to blow yer own nose. Go ahead and make yer threats. You want to get a look at me daggers, I'll oblige ye. Ye can get a real close look. After this little venture is finished. Try to realize that there be more important things here than yer vanity, ye babbling neophyte. Now I'm finished tryin to talk sense into yer blockhead, shut yer yap and go do yer job. Or ye can stand there flappin yer gums until yer spell wears off. It wouldn't surprise me if'n yer were that dense. Joren knows ye haven't shown any sense so far."
-----Sarah starts laughing at him. "I got it! I got it!" She says, calming down. "Dawnrider sent you along to be like a jester or something right? Maybe you should just give those sharp toys of yours to someone who knows how to use them."
-----The Dread Pirate then goes back to replacing his daggers in their sheaths, then lies back on the grass and watches the clouds go by, completely ignoring any further moronic outbursts from the fledgling wizardess.
-----Sarah looks at the others. "Move. Now." Sarah waits about ten seconds for the others to move into position and then heads into the darkness.
-----Raven winces at each of Dread's barbs toward Sarah, Raven turns to Dread to say something, but instead just shakes his head and then continues to follow Sarah into the darkness.
-----Sarah realizes that Kazel has a valid point, but doesn't want to leave her behind. "Wow, okay, now we have a real problem. We do need someone here to watch the horses because they are simply too big to take with us. But this is where the action is, ya know? It’s why we're all here." Sarah has a thought. "Raven, is your wolf trained?" She looks at Seth. "Could Albert stay here and tell you if something comes up that we need to go back for? I could wake up Chessie but he wouldn't make much of a watcher in the daytime. His eyes are more sensitive even than mine are now." She finishes.
-----Raven says to Sarah, "The wolf will stay out here."
-----Seth watches Albert for awhile. "Yes he can watch, although I am not sure if I can understand him through the darkness."
