-----Sol doesn't seem to be paying attention to anything and obviously hasn't heard a word his friends have said. At the moment he is still standing in front of Sarah, waiting to enter the Dark. The only movement on him is a slow and constant clenching and unclenching of his hands. For once there is no expression on his face.
-----Raven sighs and says, "Okay, I'm done talking. I'm ready. Let's do it and then get the hell out of here." Raven motions to the wolf. The wolf stays put as Raven walks up and stands beside Sol.
-----Sarah unfurls the scroll and after a pause begins to slowly read the words accenting the arcane symbols. A cool swirling of air commences around the young sorceress and it catches her beautiful blond hair lifting it lightly from her shoulders. Small specklings of bluish light begin to rain down as the sound of tiny bells start. Finally among a rising crescendo as if made by stringed instruments, the blue specks come together and congeal to form a small half sphere centered on Sarah tinged with a blue outline that slowly fades but remains in existence none the less.
-----Rinda turns toward Raven and speaks aloud, not minding that the others hear. "Raven, do you not think it strange that we come here to find the elves and men fighting before this Darkness. Could it be that this . . . thing," She continues as she points toward the blackness, "is bringing the rage upon our friends?"
-----Rinda then looks over at Kazel to see what she thinks.
-----Raven says, "I hope what you say is true Rinda. We'll see what happens after the darkness is stopped." Raven gives Rinda a small smile.
-----Raven looks back to Sarah to see if she has started to move forward.
-----Kazel points at herself with a look of "Who me?" on her face at Rinda's query. She turns her palms up indicating part ambiguity and part indifference. "Maybe, maybe not. But I'd say people should look a bit harder at themselves and the mission at hand before throwing tempers or blaming the forces of darkness."
-----"Now let's get on with this, shall we?" Kazel says, suddenly looking unnaturally cheerful. "Unless you all feel I'm needed in there, I'll be out here to watch the outside and the horses. Or someone else should."
-----Gimplefwick sits idly on the hillside, still scraping webs off of himself after talking with Sol. At yet another of Sarah's rash outbursts he sighs, climbs to his feet and states, "Ye show yer ignorance again and again. It was my belief that users of magic were supposed to be at least somewhat intelligent. I guess ye certainly have disproved that anyway."
-----"Who’s rambling on with no point?" Sarah mutters.
-----The Dread Pirate goes on to comment, "I'm thinkin that we have better things to do with our time than stand here and listen to yer childish rantings, but I'll humor yer bad temper and answer ye. No, I'm not goin to kill ye. Much as it would be doin the world a favor, we have a more important task. It'd be best if'n ye pulled yer head out of yer buttocks and realized that. As far as throwin the daggers goes, it seemed the best option at the time. Frankly, Sol's chances of breakin up that fight with words was about one in a million. He was extremely lucky. And what did I say before I went down there and started flippin knives. I said subdue them. Is that even remotely close to kill everyone and let Joren sort 'em out? Furthermore, what did we learn about this conflict, now that both sides have stormed off. Nothing. We could have questioned 'em both at our leisure. Now we know nothing."
-----"Subdue someone by throwing daggers at them? Right, that'll subdue ‘em for sure. It'll also main, kill, paralyze, but hey I guess killers can't be choosers. As for Sol not having a chance, you got proved wrong, and you will again," says Sarah.
-----Gimplefwick goes on further, "As far as the daggers themselves go, they be treated with an herbal soporific that knocks its victims on their arses for awhile. That elf will be up on his feet in about an hour or so."
-----Sarah laughs at this one. "Okay, let me see those daggers. Let me guess the herbs are on the pointy ends huh? Hmmm...maybe I should paint a love potion on the sharp end of my darts, and then lob a couple your way so you'll like me more." She shakes her head laughing.
