-----With his head and one hand free from the web, Gimplefwick continues tearing bits of web off of himself. When he finally gets free, he growls at Sarah, "Maybe ye can get off yer self righteous duff and go take a look at that dark cloud, rather than wasting yer time being so bloated with pomposity."
-----The Dread Pirate then goes about picking up his various throwing knives and placing them back in their sheaths. He then, somewhat moodily, sits down and starts wiping webbing off of his clothing with tufts of grass, completely ignoring everyone around him.
-----Sol walks over to where Gimplefwick has sat down, and squats down in front of him. The young warrior’s face screws up as if Sol's trying to decide how he feels. It ends up soft, and he quietly speaks to the Dread Pirate for a moment.
-----Sarah calmly replies to the funny little man. "Why don't you go join up with some orcs? Then you can fling daggers at whatever you like." Sarah pulls a scroll out of her backpack.
-----Raven sits down on a near by stump and begins to eat some dried jerky. Raven then nods and says, "Dread is right. It's time to see what your magic can do to aid us in stopping this darkness." Raven pauses, "Well Sarah, what do we do next?"
-----She turns to Sol and Raven and says, "Yes, I have one of those scrolls, but I don't want him," she points at the Dread Pirate, "coming with us. If any of you object to that, I'm just fine with leaving you here too. I'm fully prepared to take this one by myself. So move quick."
-----Sol obviously has no intention of using any 'rope trick' now that a scroll has been produced. He claps the Dread Pirate on the shoulder and walks towards Sarah, "Yeah, I object to that. If he wants to come, he can. The sooner we all work together, the better. He was asked to come for a reason and Jacian Dawnrider's opinion is more'n good enough for me." He looks around at Kazel, Seth and Dread and quickly says, "If any of ye want a learning experience, then ye'll want to come along, 'specially you Seth if ye wanted to know about these gems. Stay close t'Sarah, 'cause the range of the magic defense doesn't seem to cover much ground. Not much more than a couple of yards, I'd say. And ye definitely don't want to enter the dark without that defense." He steps in front of Sarah and calmly waits for the scroll magic to be released, and the signal to start moving forward.
-----Seth looks around and nods at Sol. "Ok, well I have this rope if anyone wants it, and I'm going to go help the Dread Pirate out of the web. So if you really don't want us to come, Sarah, you can web both of us good and proper while I am bent over trying to cut through the webs. If you do allow us to come, I would like to learn more about the Gems and how you defeat them. I know I get scared sometimes and I might run away every now and then, but I have not failed my friends yet. Dread and I have never been Shipmates, but we have been wagon mates, which so I am told, is just as good."
-----He pulls out the used and dented dagger that Dread loaned him so long ago after he broke his own dagger. He bends down in front of the Dread Pirate and begins to cut him free, a little apprehensive that he is about to be the target of magic.
-----The Dread Pirate listens to Sol for a few moments and then, rather heatedly replies, but keeps it to a whisper. He then goes back to scraping off spider webs. He does pause to nod appreciatively at the support of the others. As Sarah issues her racist statement, the Dread Pirate shrugs and replies, "Next time some undead creature o' the night stalks ye, I'll just let ye die, ye ungrateful wench. Hopefully somethin in that fog'll do ye in and save the world a load o' sufferin at yer hands."
-----Raven smoothly jumps to his feet and moves toward Sarah. Raven stops just a few feet from her. Raven stops and seems to be thinking what to say. Finally Raven throws up his hands, "What the hell do you think this is a country club party? Do you think I like everyone here? We're here to save the local folk from this evil force. Suck it up and save your poisonous words until after this mission is done. And no you are not going in there alone. If you fail, then we'll be screwed three ways from Sunday! I'm not going to let your quick temper risk the chance of this darkness winning." Raven takes a deep breath and then continues, "Please Sarah, work with the group and let’s get this done."
-----Sarah seems really pissed off. "What, I'm not working with the group? I'm the one who sees the people we're supposed to be helping and throw daggers at them?"
-----Sarah snaps her fingers and the webs around Gimplefwick disappear. "You have a problem with me, Gimplefwick?" Sarah’s hand drops to her wand. "Any time you want me to die, just let me know and we'll settle it. For good."
-----Sarah doesn't turn her back to him or take his eyes off him. "I don't object to his profession and I don't find his comments more than annoying. What I do object to is the fact that he just took the action into his own hands and could have screwed us severely by attacking the elves. I'm sure some of you don't like elves but we're here to help them too. I'm sure you're used to working on your own, but we to act as a group as more than a few of us have pointed out. I don't want to get it there and have you throw daggers at everything around just to see what happens. This is serious and I don't want any amateurs involved. And if any of you don't understand that or if you want me to let him tag along just because the Sun Lord told him he could, you can just get the hell out of here and let me deal with it, because I can and I doubt I need your help. I would appreciate you coming along, but I don't want any one with itchy fingers on their knives, you understand me now?" Her eyes narrow under her hood. "You still want to come mister 'Dread by those who turn their backs to him' Pirate, you can. But the next time you attack an innocent, that goes for all of you, I'm leaving this group. You know you can't do this without me."
-----"We all clear now?" Sarah waits for any responses.
