-----By this time, the Dread Pirate pokes his head out of the webbing as he struggles to emerge from the accursed webbing.
-----Kazel fully intended to hold the sword up to the hilt in the wizard's ribs, and stab him with another knife. She now searches for any trails of blood, noise or wind that could give the wizard away.
-----Getting his head out just in time to see the wizard vanish further infuriates the Dread Pirate. Swearing incoherently in several languages, Gimplefwick redoubles his efforts to escape the confounded web. He manages to squeak out, "Close the blasted door, afore he gets away and I tear his head off!"
-----Seth, seeing the wizard escape, momentarily thinks about running over to see how the others are doing with the other wizard, but stops and stares at Marast and Dread. He tucks his sling into his belt and draws his dagger and tries to help free them from the web.
-----Suddenly through the open barn door, another of the wizards runs in. The burnt-faced one looks around at the ensuing chaos and lifts one finger. With a quick word, two magical bolts of energy leave his finger, heading across the room. A missile each hits Kazel and Seth.
-----A third wizard then enters! This one with his hood pulled back to reveal lightning markings tattooed into his face runs with an inhuman speed. He bypasses the burnt wizard and heads directly at Seth and the webbed pirate and elf.
-----As he stops just behind Seth who is recovering from the shock of being hit with the magic missile, he raises his hands with the thumbs touching. With an incantation that sounds little more than an exhalation of breath, jets of flame shoot out from his fingertips. Even though Seth and Marast are affected by the flames, the emerging halfling takes the brunt of the spell. As the webbing begins to catch fire, the Dread Pirate pulls free of the sticky material with Marast.
-----Just then Brandel comes running in with Runik and Krord behind him. The human guard swings at the burnt-faced wizard raking the skin from his arm. The wizard cries out in surprise as the large one and the dwarf swoop at him with warhammer and fists a’flashing.
-----The burnt wizard then desperately casts another magic missile spell. The two energy bolts slam into Brandel and Krord forcing the two back.
-----Seth looks at the wizard with burn marks on his face and quickly makes a fist and punches at the Wizard shouting, "Sabba Sa!" picturing the Wizard being forced back through the wall of the building. A rush of air leaves Seth’s fist and quickly forms the transparent Ram force. The onrushing air carries across the building for the evil one striking him and carrying him off his feet. The wizard then strikes the far wall and lies there moaning.
-----Krord roars in anger and rushes over to the downed wizard. Grasping him up in his huge hands, Krord lifts the defeated wizard over his head. As the wizard slowly collects his wits, the huge guard carries him over toward the deep pit he dug.
-----Runik quickly removes the tarp covering it, exposing what lies beneath. As the wizard screams in recognition of his doom, Krord hefts him as high as he can. With an impressive show of strength, Krord slams the evil one into the pit, where the sounds of impaling, pain and dying are heard. Runik then replaces the tarp over the pit and turns his attention elsewhere.
-----Marast makes an attempt at getting at the lightning tattooed wizard but uncharacteristically slips before making contact. He lies almost spread eagle on the floor!
-----The wizard then reaches down with one hand and touches the fallen elf in the middle of his back. He then says a word that sounds like ‘jolt’. Suddenly Marast jerks as if he has some unholy energy coursing through his body.
-----Webbed, burnt, and with his piratical finery now singed, the Dread Pirate chokes in unrepressed fury. Not even stopping to draw his cutlass, he charges the wizard who just burned him, fully intending to grapple the sorcerer to the ground and rip his face off. As he reaches the prone elf and the stooped wizard over him, Gimplefwick leaps. He hits the wizard in the chest toppling the evil one knocking him to the floor.
-----Kazel alertly sees some blood droppings by the corner of the room closest to her. She then throws a vial of unlit burning oil at the blood dripping position, trying to splash the target. The vial appears to hit something just in front of the wall. As the liquid begins to flow down something unseen but outlining the shape of a cloak, Kazel realizes she has hit her mark. She then hurried goes to work with her flint and torch.
-----Just as Kazel gets her torch lit, she sees the transparent form begin to move limply toward the open barn door. With a grin, she hefts the torch toward the fleeing form and the burning object strikes it. Flames instantly begin catching the invisible material. Realizing the peril he is in, the invisible wizard begins screaming in a sound that resembles a metallic screeching. The form stops as the evil one works to put himself out.
