-----Crane quickly picks up the sword and pokes it through his belt so he can take the reins of the horses. He then moves along until he finds ground level with the road to lead the horses toward the camp. Jules accompanies him frowning at the horses.
-----After wiping out the tracks on the road and in the dirt, Whisper pauses. Nothing seems to stir other than his two companions and the horses making their way through the trees. Turning he sees no signs of movement on the road in either direction. With that he retrieves his arrows and moves toward the camp, still working at concealment.
-----Once he made it back to the camp, the Wood Elf carefully replaced the remaining arrow in the quiver. A moment’s rumination, and he placed the much more dangerous quiver somewhere out of the way. He rolled his shoulders, and then turned to regard his two companions.
-----Feeling a slight itch at the back of his throat, he swallowed several times, covering by looking over to where the Dwarf had tied up the horses. Then he returned his gaze, nodded, and motioned for them to rest. "Then... go. Return... before... dawn."
-----He hoped to forestall further conversation, but knew that they would inevitably comment upon something.
-----Crane oddly grimaces as if he doesn’t at first understand Whisper. Jules looks at the wood elf with large eyes. She then pats the dwarf on the shoulder and says, “Let’s go. We’ll find out what we can about those riders.”
-----The dwarf at first shows a bewildered expression before quietly saying, “Oh . . . yes, the town!” He brightens as he shakes the purse of coins and says, “We’ll see what these can help us find out too!”
-----As quietly as they can both muster, the pair start out for the road.
-----Whisper watched them go, head cocked to the side consideringly.
-----Of course. They were likely not comfortable in the wild. Much better a town, in their mind, perhaps.
-----The Wood Elf shrugged. He had a few chores to do, before getting some rest for this night's tasks.
-----First, he set about concealing the campsite, and makeshift coral, a bit more thoroughly. Then he searched for nearby roughage that that he could use to feed the two horses. After that, he tried rigging a rough trough to water the two beats.
-----After a quick meal for himself, he made his way into the branches of a nearby tree, resolving to rest until sundown, where upon he would begin his proper work.

-----Sometime later, Sol awakens. The air inside the barn now feels heavy and uncomfortably warm. Just two other men are here and they rise at the same time that Sol does. The Gorian then gathers his things and heads out.
-----Outside there is little relief from the summer day. Although the clouds heavily blanket the sky, the air does not move and the absence of wind makes for one hot day.
-----As Sol moves out toward the village square, he sees many of the freed villagers gathered there. Oddly, all the people are standing in a long line. At the head of the line is a little old man sitting at a small table probably taken from a workshop. He seems to ask them questions and then writes down something on parchment. Some of the people he has already spoken to have drifted off to wander around the village.
-----Lovan stands off to one side looking at the sky. He removes his helmet and wipes at his forehead with his arm.
-----As Sol moves out toward the square, he catches sight of Raven and Jeilin.
-----Sol already looks uncomfortable in the heat, his armour causing the Gorian to feel like he is being slowly roasted. Signaling to Raven, he begins to make his way over to the hunter where he then informs, "I'm just going t'ride a sweep around t'all th' posts. Until th' relief arrives, there's not much more I can do until my watch starts again." Pausing briefly from his conversation, Sol motions to stop for one of the people who have finished lining up, and asks them, "What's wi' th' line?"
-----The older gentlemen that Sol asks replies as he nods toward the old man at the table, "The elder has decided to take a count of all of the people here and see what part of Ravenhold they have been taken from."
-----"Anyway, I'll see ye around, less ye want t'join me fer a ride." Sol offers before turning and smiling and waving to Jeilin. The Gorian then leads Thunder away from the crowd and mounts up, intending to ride north to the group out on watch there.
-----"I shall stay here," says Jeilin, declining the offer to patrol. The star priestess stands about placidly, showing no wear from the heat.
-----"Let me get my horse and I'll join you," Raven says as he heads toward one of the barns. Lovan looks at Sol for a moment and then diverts his attention back to the thick clouds.
-----In a few moments, Raven returns; his horse trotting up alongside Thunder.
-----As the young warrior and the hunter ride off, Lovan continues gazing skyward. Conscious of Jeilin standing nearby, he says, "There is no wind. It is as if the Great Rager waits for the next move."
