-----Sol urged Thunder towards the one who felled the Silvergard knight, indignation of seeing the act giving way to a burst of anger. As he neared his opponent, the Gorian braced himself in his saddle and swung a wide blow at the officer, as he glorifies his deity, "In Strator's name!"
-----As the warriors ride into melee, Jeilin nudges Shakalee forward at a small distance. When the priestess gets into range, she notes one of the smoking brushes and uses it to cast pyrotechnics in the midst of the enemy flank, such that the friendly forces at the frontline would be unaffected by the dazzle.
-----Sol’s opponent sweeps in with his long sword and misses the young warrior. The Gorian then strikes out as Thunder and the enemy’s steed flank each other. Sol delivers a very strong slash that immediately injures the man. The foe grunts as he tries to retaliate and hit Sol, but he misses again. Sol misses a forward thrust, but then reverses his swing and strikes his opponent solidly again.
-----As Raven rides in, the officer facing him swings his sword. The Hunter quickly parries the weapon and stabs out with his other short sword. The weapon finds a weak point in the soldier’s chain armor lightly injuring the man’s sword arm.
-----A few yards away, one of the flaming bushes suddenly erupts, spewing burst of multi-colored sparks. Four of the mounted Ravenhold officers appear to be disoriented as they try to fend off those they fight. Their clumsy movements indicate they have trouble seeing their surroundings.
-----Sol’s opponent sneers at him and tries to stab him. However, very quickly, Sol strikes out hitting the man three different times severely wounding him.
-----Raven and his foe strike at the same time; each fighter scoring a strike on the other! Raven grimaces at the injury to his shoulder while his sword rips into the soldier’s gut. Angered, Raven tears across with his other sword critically wounding the man. Raven’s foe slumps in his saddle and waves to him in surrender.
-----With gritted teeth, the man Sol faces yields to the Gorian. He sheathes his sword and holds his hands up in surrender. On the field remain three mounted officers still able to fight although it now looks as if they are greatly outnumbered by the host of Silvergard. The four officers who were blinded by the flaring bush have been taken from their saddles and are in custody of the rangers of the Silvery Woods.
-----Swinging his gaze briefly over his shoulder, Sol tries to signal some rangers to take his and Raven's opponents prisoner.
-----In the back, Jeilin lowers her star rod and takes out her bow. She looks to the sky again briefly and then at the remaining Ravenhold officers still holding out in the field.
-----Very quickly now all of the surviving Ravenhold force is taken into custody. Sol’s opponent proves to be an especially boisterous fellow as he snarls while he is surrounded by guards of the Silvery Woods. To no in particular, his sneering tone is heard to say, “Think not that you can claim victory. Lord Sintor will have the last laugh.”
-----This is met with some rough shoving as the rangers lead the man back toward where Sula held her position. The man holds his tongue for now.
-----Sol scans the entire field, making sure there are no pockets of Sintor's forces still resisting.
-----As the fighting ends, Jeilin is seen to be once again wandering about surveying the landscape and taking notes. She also takes out her spyglass and looks to the east occasionally.
-----The three adventurers now ride back toward Sula’s position where the ranger keeps track of her troop as they gather the last surviving enemy forces. As she sees Raven and Sol especially approach she nods to them and asks, “We shall have prisoners that Lord Howrun will want to question. Is there a place in Kulendra that we might house them?”
-----The warrior shrugs his reply, showing his lack of interest in the prisoners future, although he does reply, "Th' orc camp on th' northern side o' Ku, where they were forcing some o' th' hardier people t'slave away fer gold, were kept confined. They might have summat appropriate fer 'em. In th' town itself, not so much, maybe a barn or two. Still, with th' way Ku's people feel about what happened to them, you might not want t'keep them close."
-----"We're probably going t'head back that way now... when shall I tell them yer forces will be able to get there?" Sol asks as an afterthought.
-----"But first," comes Jeilin riding along, somewhat unsteadily with one hand on the reins and the other clutching the piece of ore. "Let's examine that other site!"
-----Sol nods to the priestess, "I intend t'take ye there on our way back."
-----“Lord Howrun’s personal guard should arrive sometime between mid-afternoon and sunset,” Sula replies. “It sounds like the orcish camp will do for our prisoners,” she continues with a stern nod, “after our troops clean up after what that rabble left behind.”
