-----A yelling Sol suddenly comes up right between two of the monsters as they take a look at their surroundings. Before they can find the young warrior, Sol slices a deep gash across the thick back muscles of one and injuries a chest muscle of the other. They bellow in rage as they work to position themselves.
-----The form of the hawk glides above the battlefield; its wings catching the moonlight as it begins to circle.
-----"Take that, damn you!" Lovan says as he tries to slam his warhammer at the monster towering over him. This time, the weapon rakes a bit of hide from the monster's chest drawing more of an enraged snort.
-----Garrison grits his teeth, feeling anger as well as the ache of his own injuries. "Enough of you!" he hisses as he chops at the orc in front of him. His axe slices into the humanoid's face and as the orc falls dead, the woodsman heaves a deep breath. His eyes then widen as he looks at the hulking creatures his companions are fighting. "Next!" he sighs as he hobbles forth to face one.
-----Just then Caranip is heard to shout an awe-inspired cry. From out of the trees where she and her mistress are hidden, a magnificent form twice as long as the bull monsters are tall takes wing. Hovering momentarily over the treetops, a dragon, its scales sparkling like pieces of gold in the firelight, surveys the field of battle. Its wings spread wide catching the glint of the moonlight and it raises its head in a regal fashion. It then rises higher to get a better vantage of the enemy.
-----The monster facing Pil turns its weapon and swings at the warrior. Pil quickly ducks the weapon and spins. Suddenly the creature is on him and delivers a bite to Pil's right shoulder. The warrior grimaces as he tries to jab back.
-----One of the creatures turns on Sol and prepares to swing at the young warrior. As the monster tries to bring its weapon to bear, it flies from its grasp. In its fury, it quickly reaches down and bites Sol's arm. Sol is able to draw away from it with a badly scratched arm. The young warrior then evades the weapon of the other monster he injured.
-----The monster towering over Lovan swings its axe down. At the last moment, the storm priest trips luckily causing the attack to miss! Lovan then rolls as the monster tries to dive on him. The beast opens its mouth but strangely it misses the priest and in the impact, the monster bites its own tongue.
-----The other two monsters keep their eyes on the now circling dragon and ready their huge axes.
-----Sol just has enough frame of mind to notice the large shape hovering above. A quick glance at the magnificent creature is enough to give the warrior pause. There was enough glint of gold in the dim light for Sol to be assured, for although the dragon was relatively small, the warrior knew from the Lord Wizard Zepharon that the golden wyrm was as good as the beings get.
-----And imagine, Sol thought with a smile, three dragons in such a short time. An image of Lovan calling down the Rage flashed through the Gorian's mind, so he called out, "Th' dragon's on our side! Keep up th' attack!" His own words brought out the appropriate response in Sol, and the Stormbringer set about continuing his violent assault on the horned brutes. He sets about swinging at each of his two immediate foes in turn, attempting to never let either one overbear him.
-----The brilliant gold dragon sees Sol get bit and bellows angrily! It flies straight down at the minotaur that bit Sol and prepares to rake into it with teeth and claws moving like golden lightning.
-----Raven looks in shock at the dragon and thinks it must be Sarah's doing. Getting back to business, Raven runs to help Lovan. Raven springs on the monster as a wolf taking down a large prey. Raven's blades whirl and dance as he attacks.
-----The beast attacking Lovan picks itself up from the ground with anger rising with its form. Raven very quickly rips into the monster's hide tearing a huge gash right across its belly. The creature's eyes widen in pain and rage.
-----"Feel the rage!" Lovan yells with a smile across his face as he focuses on the monster and for a moment, it is unclear whether he is speaking to Raven or the monster. In his excitement, the storm priest misses the creature with a wild swing.
-----Pil jabs in with his sword, but the attack is roughly parried by the beast facing him.
-----Sol's smile widens as he anticipates what is about to happen! He quickly stabs into one monster increasing its blood flow down its front. He then turns slicing across the abdomen of the other. Both creatures roar and are badly hurt! The young warrior then ducks as he sees the dragon making her first pass.
-----Out of the dimness of the moonlit night comes the beautiful dragon, her scales glowing golden in the campfire as she approaches. One strong graceful claw is extended as the rest of the draconic form glides in. As she moves, the dragon rips across the shoulder and the back badly wounding the offending monster. The creature tries to steady itself as the dragon glides upward.
-----Meanwhile Raven's whirling blades slice deeply across the monster again. The ripping sounds are accompanied by flying bits of flesh and blood as the monster's bellow sounds more full of pain than of anger.
