-----The hawk is suddenly seen flogging around the top of one of the bull-headed creatures. The monster shakes its horned-head denying the hawk an opening.
-----Dilton comes rushing to the aid of Pil. He jabs in with his own sword at the uninjured monster and gets his weapon fended off. The creature looks down at both fighters ready to deliver its own attack.
-----Quickly the dragon swoops in, raking another claw at the foe that bit Sol. This time, the dragon misses and she climbs to make her next turn.
-----Pil and Dilton both move quickly avoiding their opponent's weapon and savage bite.
-----Both monsters standing by Sol steady themselves and get a firm grasp on their weapons. They begin to step forward and swing at the young warrior. The first weapon comes across Sol's chest. The chain armor takes the blunt of the attack but it badly scratches Sol. The second weapon comes down on Sol's off hand shoulder, injuring him.
-----"Minotaurs," Garrison growls as he limps forward. "I've heard of these." He finally gets within range of one of the creatures watching the golden dragon and it turns toward him. Quickly it swings its axe at him, but the woodsman ducks the attack. Garrison then slams his battleaxe into the monster's gut drawing a goodly amount of blood. "There, you bull-headed ass, how'd you like that?!" he shouts through his own pain.
-----The minotaur in front of Raven now looks critical as it hefts its weapon. Its attack seems clumsy and Lovan finds no difficulty moving from its intended bite on him. However, Raven can see another monster moving beside the weakened one to face the hunter.
-----The golden dragon is suddenly there again swooping toward the minotaurs standing over Sol. The jaws open slightly and, in her pass, clamp down on the bull's head. Shaking her head as she starts to rise, the dragon snaps the minotaur's neck sending it crashing almost into the fire.
-----The golden dragon lands next to Sol and intends to pounce on the nearest minotaur, ripping into it with claws and teeth. Sarah inside the dragon can hardly believe how exhilarating it feels to be so huge and strong. Her tail lashes about as the dragon roars.
-----Noticing that one of his opponents has been taken away from him, Sol tries his best to be grateful. Before he can think further down that track, he continues to batter away at his last opponent, hacking away both high and low.
-----Raven's eyes fix on the new foe in front of him. With a burst of speed Raven tries to roll behind his foe and attack the backs of his legs. The move takes his opponent by surprise. The maneuver is too fast for the weakened minotaur to follow as the hunter rolls and spins delivering a slash to the creature's legs. It proves to be too much for the monster as it falls forward dead.
-----Raven then spins again just barely striking the new approaching foe. The short sword rakes across the minotaur's belly, injuring it.
-----Just as the dragon lands, Sol goes into a frenzy with his weapon. The Lathanian blade flashes across once ripping deep into the hurt monster. The young warrior then moves his sword in a circular motion slashing across the legs of his opponent and in the same motion his weapon arcs toward the head. By now the monster is critical with blood and sweat streaming from it. The sword quickly rips across the neck nearly decapitating the minotaur.
-----Pil delivers a hit on his enemy facing him and Dilton. He scratches up the arm of the minotaur but the beast begins to heft its weapon.
-----The gold dragon standing beside the young warrior looks a bit perturbed but only for a moment. Quickly eyeing other prey, the dragon moves toward the minotaur facing Pil and Dilton. At the same time, she extends one claw and tries to bite the minotaur, but the monster dodges the attacks. The dragon tries to retaliate with her other claw only to miss again.
-----By now, the hawk has landed near where Strolum is laid out with his injuries. Rinda then is seen tending to him with Caranip half watching her and the battle.
-----Lovan steps up alongside Raven and smashes his warhammer into the brute's chest injuring it further. Lovan laughs as his weapon connects.
-----Dilton injures the monster facing him, Pil and the dragon. His sword jabs in and draws blood from the minotaur's stomach muscles.
-----At the same time, the minotaur misses Dilton as its axe weapon sweeps to the warrior's left.
-----Garrison badly injures his minotaur just as the creature tries to strike him. The woodsman grins at his fortune while avoiding the big monster.
