-----Sol looks at Raven and almost yelps his reply, "What? What are ye talking about." He glances back to the tree line where he saw Sarah head last.
-----Raven looks at Sol for a moment and then opens his mouth as if to say something, but then just turns to seek help from Rinda with his arm wound.
-----This prompts Sol to jog over to the tree line to begin searching for the mage.
-----"Garrison!" Rinda shouts as loud as she feels the night will allow. "Get over here! Let me check your wounds!"
-----The woodsman grimaces and says with protest in his voice, "I'm fine. I didn't really get more wounded than I was before." He does, however, start toward where the Huntress is looking over Strolum.
-----Lovan stands with his hands on his hips and watches the dragon fly over the fortress. The storm priest silently nods.
-----"Blast ye!" Pil says angrily as he looks down at Strolum laid out on the ground. The red-headed warrior holds a bandage to his belly which is stained red. "Ye jest had t'go n' git yerself hurt."
-----Dilton stands by, saying nothing but concern etched on his face.
-----"Shut yer mouth!" Strolum says back to the bronze warrior. "I'll be up n' havin' ye beggin' fer mercy in no time!"
-----"Gentlemen!" Caranip says giggling to the three warriors, "Now's the time for rest. If nothing else comes at us from the castle, we'll have til morning to regain our strength." The gnome then looks toward the keep and the flying draconic form high above it. "My mistress will be back soon and she'll tell us what's going on."
-----Rinda pulls Raven to one side and quickly tells him, "Strolum is wounded very badly. I don't know if he should travel much farther with us." The Huntress then looks at Sol searching among the short trees where Sarah was last seen. "Sol! Get over here! I need to check you for wounds!"
-----Sol stares opened-mouthed as he digests what Caranip announced; obviously attempting to reply to Rinda as he does so. Managing to find his voice, he calls back, "Just scratches, Rinda. Good exercise an' all that."
-----Almost forcing himself, the Gorian wrenches his eyes from Sarah's current form and looks to the keep, trying to determine any further activity.
-----The golden dragon flies back from the direction of the keep and comes to a slightly awkward landing in front of the group. The form shrinks and twists a little as the dragon transforms into a human woman in one fluid motion.
-----Sarah Night stands before the adventurers and she takes a deep breath. "There are dozens of things moving about in the Keep, but nothing seems to be coming out the gate anytime soon. I think it will be safe to rest." Sarah says with a tone of awe in her voice. "How is everybody? Is anyone injured?" Sarah tries to act as if everything is normal, but her heart is racing faster than it ever has before.
-----Raven frowns, "We took our licks, but we'll all live." Raven looks towards the keep, "I hate to wait too long, never know when reinforcements might show up."
-----Dilton and Pil look at Sarah in awe as the mage resumes her form. Even Strolum still laying on the ground looks in her direction wide eyed. Caranip smiles broadly as she awaits her mistress.
-----Lovan quietly stares at the keep. After a few moments, he raises his warhammer and shakes it at the stronghold. He then grumbles, "They know we're out here." Looking toward the keep, moonlight is seen glinting dimly off of helms and spear tips along the walls.
-----Garrison looks at Raven and says, "Sounds like you're ready to hit them now rather than wait for the sun." The woodman begins hefting his axe and looking back at the stronghold.
-----Also still looking at the keep, Sol says quietly, "I'm ready t'hit it now . . . just need a way in."
-----Raven nods, "Sooner the better." Raven looks over at all the dead foes. Raven taps his foot as he looks at the dead. "We could..." Raven starts to say, "try to make them surrender. Orcs are a cowardly lot, once their leaders are gone. We could parlay with them and offer to spare their lives if they leave the keep. If we displayed the heads of these monsters as we parlay they might leave the keep." Raven shrugs, "Hell we could say we are just a small group of a larger army and that their army has been destroyed."
-----Raven smiles, "That's my two cents worth at least."
-----Sarah crossed her arms and stared off at the keep, pouting. She did her best to control herself and not complain about how the group had promised that they would wait for the morning. If the group attacked now Sarah would have limited usefulness, as she had already used most of her damaging spells. But Sarah had learned long ago not to tell Raven and Sol what to do, so she merely pointed out, "If we wait until morning I can be more helpful to you." Trying but not quite succeeding to keep the pout on her face from being obvious in her words.
-----"Maybe I could transform into something that would terrify them?" She suggested. "What would scare the heck out of an orc?"
-----"Depends on how well they know Raven." Sol quips before finally turning away from the keep to regard Sarah for a while. Eventually he remarks, "I'd forgotten about yer spell reserves. There's no harm in waiting fer morning . . . Ye willing t'wait Raven?"
-----Raven nods, "I forgot about that also. With Sarah rested, our chances of beating them would be much better. First light it is then."
