-----Seth, looking somewhat confused, walks over to the wagon and climbs up on board.
-----With everyone piled into the wagon, Brandel lets the horses wander forward a bit carrying the wagon at a slow pace. Runik sits back down on the prone form of Amdracks drawing protesting grunts from the prisoner. Krord sits as close to Brandel as he can while casting questioning glances at the trio.
-----The Dread Pirate looks askance at the collection of fellow travelers in the wagon, then says, "What're we meetin fer? I think we'd best just raise the mainsail and set sail outta here as fast as we can. That merchant or whatever he was, isn't goin to be very happy when he gets home."
-----Kazel smiles. "Actually, that's what the meeting is for. So let's be off already."
-----Seth plays with some silver coins and says, "Well I cannot see any reason to stay. Those fellows look like a bit of a handful." He rolls his eyes as if to suggest what he is about to say may be a tall tale. "They claim to be responsible for all the dead bodies and heads on spikes around abouts."
-----The Dread Pirate says thoughtfully, as they ride down the road, "Arrr, mayhaps they did. If'n they were altogether, that might explain the obscene amount o' loot that farmer had underneath his bed. What kind o' farmer has that amount o'wealth accumulated. By the way, once we stop fer the night, I'll divvy up what I liberated from his home. In the meantime though, we'd best make best speed outta here."
-----The Dread Pirate then continues, "We'd best figure out what we're doin next also. I say we stop outside o' Oakwood and send somebody in to look for Marast. Preferably somebody in disguise, since we might be wanted criminals. Then, if we find him, I'd like to pick up that mummified ogre fer me museum. Too bad we couldn't capture one o' those undead skeletons. That would've been a nice addition. Especially if I could've trained it as a doorman. Anyway, unless somethin else comes up, then after that, I think we should go back to Hearthorn. Maybe see if we can pick up our reward and Sol's as well. Then I plan on layin low fer awhile. Maybe outta town. Well outta town. What do you think?" Dread looks inquisitively at Kazel and Seth.
-----"Now that you mentioned it, I also think it's time to move out of that town considering who is or will be ruling it soon." Kazel looks up from teaching the little girl how to play with knives and hurt other children. "If you remember, I asked if anyone wanted to haul the ogre back that time you got its toothpick from. That one'd have been easier and faster to transport. Except the part where we have to explain that to the knight. Speaking of which-"
-----As the rogues discuss their plans, Brandel urges the horses on, picking up speed. The wagon stirs up a bit of dust behind it as it travels up the road through the mid part of the village. Soon off to the left, they can see the farm where the rogues had traded the horses on their way into this part of Redmarsh.
-----On up ahead, the road forks with the road on the right leading north toward Oakwood and Hearthorn. There at the fork lies the tavern that Brandel and Runik had visited while the Dread Pirate had waited on Seth and Kazel to carry out their transactions.
-----A few people are sighted outside their residences or working out in the surrounding fields. However, up ahead on the road two riders on horses head down the road slowing close to where the tavern is located. Brandel begins slowing the wagon to pass by them.
-----One of the riders has the form of a human though his features are mostly hidden in the chain mail, blue surcoat and silvered helm he wears. On his left arm is a shield bearing the symbol of Joren and his long sword is mounted also on that side.
-----Surprisingly, the other rider is an orc wearing an unkempt pieced together suit of leather. The humanoid likewise wears a blue surcoat though the covering is smudged and dirtied.
-----The human motions for the humanoid to halt his steed while he gazes intently at the wagon of people approaching him. It is apparent his eyes behind his helm light upon the form of the Dread Pirate riding the coal black pony.
-----The human suddenly whips off the helm and pulls his mail coif back revealing a handsome face framed with curly black hair. His crystal clear blue eyes scan their wagon as he looks at each of the passengers. Spotting Seth, he cries out, "Nigel! My friends!" Turning excitedly to the orc, he says, "Sir Slappy, don't you recognize your friends? Our quest has finally brought us to them!"
-----The human smiles widely at those in the wagon and the rogues instantly recognize this man as the paladin Nylan Lotley. The orc stares at everyone and squints in the harsh sunshine. With its jaw slack it looks as if in a daze. When its eyes light on the form of the mounted Dread Pirate, the humanoid blinks a few times and then shakes its head as if agitated.
-----"By Moradin's hammer!" exclaims Runik seeing the orc and standing quickly to grip his warhammer.
