-----Just then, Amdracks's form begins struggling under the blanket covering him.
-----"Ye be havin' a urge to be hammered, eh?" Runik says looking down at the struggling form. With a sharp kick of the dwarf's boot, Amdracks settles down.
-----As Seth's first song ends, the door to the tavern opens and Krord emerges with a large tray of food and three mugs of drinks.
-----A haggard man suddenly appears from the side of the building and approaches the wagon. Wearing clothes that look pieced together and rags on his feet, the man hobbles along carrying a walking stick. With a bushy mane of hair and beard, it is hard to tell the exact age of the man. "Hey," he calls, "Ye gots any food to spare?"
-----Kazel shakes the little girl's hands for a bit and says, "Something's up with this village. Watch out for ambushes and other attempts at relieving us of our worldly possessions. I'll go find the Pirate." With that she dives behind or into the wagon out of sight of the beggar and puts on the ring again to search behind the bushes where Dread is reputed to be.
-----"Ye'll be gittin' if'n ye knows what good fer ya!" Runik grumbles to the beggar. The raggedy-looking man holds his hands up and backs from the wagon. He then turns and heads off down the road.
-----Meanwhile, Kazel makes it over toward the area that Brandel pointed out to her. There among the weeds and tall grass she searches, however, she finds no trace of where the Pirate might have gotten.
-----Kazel gives up and heads over to the tavern and observes what's going on inside from the windows and cracks. Kazel first hears the music coming from within the tavern. It sounds fairly familiar and then she recognizes it as a merry sailor tune that the Dread Pirate has been known to sing.
-----Through one of the windows, she sees most of the men who were outside dancing in time to the music. Seth, himself stands not far from the bar watching the men as he entertains them.
-----Kazel tries to look for the Dread Pirate once more. She makes a "psst" to see if she can locate him.
-----The invisible Kazel continues to look but she still sees no sign of the Dread Pirate. She then goes back to the wagon where she appears next to Runik as he takes a healthy pull from a mug while chewing on a hunk of meat in his mouth.
-----To Brandel she asks, "What is Seth doing? Are we trying to stay the night here? There's something strange with this place and I think we should move on from here." As she also shows the loot she found, Runik's eyes widen and he almost chokes as he struggles to get a better look at the loot.
-----"There's a lot of money here which means there are probably people around willing to kill for it, too," Kazel adds.
-----Brandel tells her, "I think Seth's only intention was to get food for us. I do not think we were intending on spending the night here, although I know Seth would like to freshen up."
-----Looking at Krord, Brandel tells him, "Perhaps you should go back in and make sure nothing is endangering our employer."
-----The huge mercenary looks questioningly at Brandel momentarily until the young man nods and clarifies himself with Seth's name. Krord then nods with understanding and turns to enter the building.
-----"Yer thinkin' we best be off?" Runik says through his last bites of meat to Kazel.
-----"We'd better," Kazel nods with a smile. "Especially after we liberate the rest of what I've found. But first I need everyone to be back and ready to take the highway. I'll be around."
-----With that she jumps off the wagon into the invisible world again. With Krord in the tavern, she feels safe enough to patrol the village for signs of pirates or hooded figures.
-----Just as Kazel jumps off the wagon, she turns invisible.
-----At that moment, the Dread Pirate pokes his head up out of the undergrowth near the woods. He then cautiously waves toward the wagon. Making sure that everything looks clear, he then resumes his approach towards the wagon, an innocent grin pasted across his face. As he draws near, he whispers to the group, "Now might be a goodly time to be settin sail. If we can pull Seth away from an audience that is." The Dread Pirate looks uncharacteristically anxious as he mentions leaving.
-----The Dread Pirate looks about curiously as Kazel vanishes, then clambers up onto the wagon, next to Amdracks. When he is comfortable, he leans back, but it is obvious from his self-satisfied expression and bulging belt pouches that he has been up to something.
-----Brandel saves a plate of roast meat from Runik and offers some of the food to the Dread Pirate. The dwarf, looking somewhat satisfied for the moment, takes a last pull from his mug and belches loudly. "Yer just be missin' the lass if'n she be already gone, Cap'n," Runik says. Eyeing the tavern, he asks, "Ya wantin' me to be a'fetchin' Seth n' Krord?"
