-----"You damned fool!" Garrison shouts out as his battleaxe cleaves through the neck of the one so bold as to try to attack Sarah. As the guard falls dead, the woodsman turns to face the other guard rising off the ground. "Come on! Get up and face me!" Garrison yells at him.
-----An arrow streaks forth from Rinda's position on the wall and strikes another guard taking him off his feet instantly killing him.
-----Two more guards race toward Raven as he begins running toward the keep. Within a few seconds, both guards fall before the hunter, with the head of one guard sailing through the air.
-----By this time, the commander has made it inside the entrance to the keep and the door begins to close.
-----Still caught on the two guardsmen, Sol still yells out, "Damn it Raven! I meant wi' yer bows. He's going t'lock us out now. Sarah, I'd appreciate it if ye didn't tempt th' sods int' finding a way through ye magic. As fer th' plan; it's simple. Find Krondor and deal wi' him." Once again Sol prepares to attack the two guardsmen on him.
-----Raven ignores Sol and runs full speed towards the closing door.
-----The muffled angered cries of the men caught in the large webbing continue as Romney makes his way down the rope. He waits at the bottom for an injured Lovan to try descending.
-----Harland runs across the courtyard to take his place beside Sarah. The guard looks around with wide eyes searching for any who approach.
-----Sol's blade slams against one of the guard's shield. From behind it, the opponent thrust his blade out missing the young warrior. Turning to his left, Sol quickly takes down the other guard catching him unaware.
-----The guard facing Garrison launches himself at the woodsman. Raising his axe, he brings his weapon home striking the woodsman in the gut. Garrison grunts before hefting his battleaxe. The woodsman swings in cleaving through the neck and sending the man's head and body to the ground. Garrison stoops momentarily catching his breath with his wounded stomach muscles.
-----Just as the door to the keep closes, Raven slams into the portal. Just as he does, he can hear someone on the other side emit a curse. The door slowly then seems to give as Raven heaves with all of his might.
-----Suddenly the tip of a spear jabs into Raven's side causing the hunter to wince in pain. As blood flows down his right side, two arrows impale the wood of the door as Rinda urgently tries to kill the guard at Raven's side but fails.
-----Annoyed that he's taking so long, Sol rushes his last opponent furiously in an attempt to overwhelm the lone mercenary.
-----Trying to ignore the pain Raven lets out a growl and then puts his shoulder to the door to keep it from shutting. Raven snarls at the guard that hit him with the spear, "You dumb bastard, I'll skin you alive if you don't bugger off."
-----Raven smiles at the guard, "I bet you're a screamer..." At that point Raven lets out a savage howl as he puts the last of his energy to force open the door.
-----Sol lunges in thrusting his sword forward as he moves. The blade finds its home slicing through the man's armor and on into the man's heart.
-----The door to the keep suddenly slams shut and noise behind it indicates some large beam being fitted behind it for support. Just as Raven stops pushing, the guard beside him jabs at him again only to miss. The shaft of the spear bumps against the hunter's back.
-----Two uninjured guards are left in the courtyard, who quickly throw down their weapons. Quickly surveying the scene, many guards lie dead in the courtyard. About seven soldiers are in various states of injury from full unconsciousness to dazed expressions and suffering spell effects. Four of these are on the catwalk, which Rinda quickly moves to either tie up or roll off the battlements.
-----"Sol," Romney calls, now standing by the huge mass of webbing, "What do you wish done with these men?" The guard from Oakwood points at the still moving mass. There looks to be over a half-dozen forms within.
-----"It'd probably be best if ye an' Lovan keep watch on them. Go find that pot o' boiling oil that's supposed to be around here an' tell 'em that if they don't behave..." Sol trails off as he surveys the scene in the courtyard. "Garrison, watch this lot fer th' moment."
-----The warrior rushes over to Raven, "Hey, do ye have any more rope on ye or should I recollect th' first lot?"
-----Sol then looks back at Sarah and says, "Sarah, we may need yer cloak again."
-----Sarah sighs with annoyance at Sol's comment. She is starting to feel distinctly overdressed at the moment, with all her spells going and no one to use them against.
