-----Sol again frowns and looks slightly worried. After a quick shifting of feet, this fades as he replies, "I'm sure ye could defend yerself, but ye have th' ability t'strike from distance wi' yer spells. Fairly unerringly from what I've seen, too. That kind o' power allows ye t'cover whoever joins Rinda, an we'll need that when we strike."
-----The Gorian then glances at Raven as he says, "An' I have a pretty fair idea o' who would want t'scale th' walls with Rinda. As fer th' last part, I agree...We definately want this over by th' time tomorrow's dawn hits th' keep's walls."
-----"I want to be the first one to see Krondor." Sarah says darkly. "I have a surprise for him. So I think it would be best if I was the one who went up the wall." Sarah says calmly, ignoring the fact that she was arguing the other side a minute ago.
-----"Krondor is not going t'be sitting on th' wall when ye climb up. He'll be sitting comfortably in his keep surrounded by his guards." Sol growls back. Looking Sarah in the eye, he continues, "All o' us here want a shot at Krondor, but only Raven an' Rinda have any 'right' at that. They're th' ones here who lost close friends t'this bastard's directions. Ye remember Jon an' Kylne?"
-----His heavy tone subsides, and the warrior continues in a softer voice, "Lastly, we can't risk losing ye. Th' first over could take th' brunt of any counterattacks. As our only mage, losing ye could make th' fight almost impossible. If Raven or I fall, another sword can take his place. I...we just can't risk it."
-----"All I need to do is see him." Sarah grumbles. "I don't care if he's surrounded by guards and monsters and who knows what else." Sarah says, staring at her feet, her arms crossed, she seems to be pouting under her hood. "Okay, fine." Sarah undoes the clasp of the cloak she took from Aaron, bundles it up and throws it at Sol. "Take the damned thing." Sarah walks away from Sol and begins to check on Marlexana wondering why this whole exchange has made her so upset.
-----Sol catches the cloak, trying to not let it drag on the floor. His mouth twitches a bit as Sol looks at his hunter friend. "You or me?" Is all the Gorian asks Raven as he hand up the cloak between them.
-----Raven listens to Sol and Sarah as they discuss what to do. When Sol mentions Krondor's part in Jon and Kylne's deaths, Raven's lips pull back into a snarl.
-----Raven seems caught off guard by Sol's question. Raven rubs his chin for a moment and then says, "I think I'm more likely to get the jump on any guards I'll come across. I feel Rinda and I should go. Our sole task is to lower a rope to the rest of the party and make sure the coast is clear, correct? It sounds like stealth is going to critical for this to work. Your time to act will come later my friend." Raven smiles, "Once you're inside the keep, I can't wait to see the death your sword will be dishing out."
-----"Yer more'n correct in saying that stealth will be needed fer th' first part. Job's yers so ye'd better practice wi' this a'fore dark." Sol hands over the spider cloak to Raven.
-----Sol looks at the remaining companions and quickly goes over the plan, "Raven, ye an' Rinda will reach th' top o' th' walls once th' sun has set. I know Sarah suggested when th' sun is in their eyes, an' let's face it, it was a good idea, but only if it was just th' two o' ye. Fer this t'work, th' rest o' us need t'be able t'reach th' walls an' rope quickly. I guess we'll have t'wait till dusk t'see what sort o' moonlight we'll be working under."
-----"Once th' two o' ye are atop th' walls, one o' ye secure th' rope while th' other covers any resistance. Garrison, ye should be th' next up. If either blade or bow is an immediate need, ye'll be able t'provide it. Sarah will be next, her ability t'affect large concentrations o' troops may be urgently needed if significant alarm has been raised. Once Sarah an' Garrison are up top, start heading around th' battlements an' take out any ballista implacements ye find, a'fore they decide t'turn them on us."
-----"Romney, Lovan an' myself will work out our order on th' spot. Raven, if ye get a free moment before ye set off after th' ballista, bundle th' cloak an' throw it back down th' wall. One o' us could use it an' climb while th' others use th' rope. Once we're all up, we'll start directing th' attack as is needed." Sol nods to himself, as if confirming something.
-----"If ye want t'add or take anything away from t'this plan come outside with me while I inform th' other two." Sol then heads out to where the horses are, to let Romney and Sarah know of the plan. Once he's there, he quickly goes over it with them.
-----As Sol goes outside, Rinda speaks up saying, "If we attack right after sundown, the moon will not reveal us. The moon will not rise tonight until close to midnight."
