-----Sol stops at the doorway to the temple and nods, "Good. Then we can all head t'just outside o' their torchlight an' wait fer th' rope t'lower. We'll have t'leave th' horses a little further out, or even here. They may make too much noise if we bring them too close." The Gorian then heads out to Sarah and Romney.
-----Raven listens to Sol as he looks at Sarah's cloak. Raven nods, "Sounds good Sol. We'll start right after sundown then." Raven holds out the cloak in front of him and says, "I better check with Sarah on how this thing works."
-----Sol finds Romney in front of the temple tending to his horse. The young warrior quickly explains the plans laid forth for what is hoped to be the final taking of the foe. After a while of talking, Raven walks around from the stables behind the temple and approaches.
-----Sol finishes laying out the battle plan for the Oakwood guard and nods to Raven as he approaches. After glancing from side to side, with his tone slightly subdued the Gorian asks both of them, "If either o' ye bump int' Sarah anytime soon, can ye tell her o' th' plan? I'll do th' same..." Sol then walks over to Thunder and takes the horses reins before heading off towards the docks, leading his warhorse behind him.
-----Sol drops Thunder's reins and slaps his head lightly. "My mind seems t'be all over th' place today. I'll be back in a moment." A vague explanation perhaps, but the only one offered. Sol begins to dash back into the temple.
-----Before Sol can run off, Raven places a hand on Thunder's neck, "Hold a moment. We need to talk." Raven holds his hands front of him, "I know what is between you Sarah is none of my business, but I feel I need to say something."
-----Before Sol can say anything Raven starts, "Just be quiet a minute, okay? You should talk with Sarah and tell her how you feel about her. Speak from your heart, for this maybe the last time either one of you will speak with each other."
-----Raven frowns as he ends their conversation on a grim note. Raven turns to leave, but then half turns towards Sol and flashes him a slight smile, "Now I'll see how brave you actually are..." Raven chuckles as he walks away.
-----Undaunted, the young warrior enters the temple and finds the Sun Priestess. To Beleya, Sol asks, "If possible, could ye ease some more o' Romney's wounds? He's still feeling th' wound o' Shema's loss, so cleaning up any physical scarring would be o' great help.
-----He then quietly follows with, "Could ye offer me directions t'where I could find th' two men who dug th' grave yesterday?"
-----After the directions are given, Sol says to Harland, "How many feet high are th' castle walls? Are there any prisoners being held there to your knowledge?"
-----The charmed warrior replies, "The castle walls are about twenty feet high. There are no prisoners being held there."
-----As Sol takes his leave, Beleya tells him, "I will tend after Romney. Take care, Sol Herron, you seem to have a lot on your mind."
-----Once outside again, Sol seeks out Garrison and communicates to him, "Could ye keep watch from th' tower fer th' next few hours, both on keep an' countryside? I'd relieve ye in a few hours."
-----"I will if you will give a shout before you rush into anything," the woodsman says smiling. Garrison then dashes off toward the structure north of the village.
-----Sol then grabs Thunder and heads to the docks. By this time, the sun has risen and the village is cautiously awakening to a new day. Like the day before it, the sky promises to be clear and the air warm with a gentle breeze seeming to follow the course of the river. A last quarter moon stands high in the southern sky shining against the blue around it.
-----Finding some workers beginning their day at the docks, Sol asks around about buying some rope. He is directed to a small stock store where he purchases 100 feet of rope at a cost of one gold piece. Sol has gotten a good deal partly from the word that has gotten around the village about the adventurers.
-----After finding the rope, Sol follows Beleya's directions to the men's houses to thank them for helping with Shema's funeral the day before. Sol feels the need to extend his gratitude for their dignified work. The villagers are most gracious to Sol offering to him food and drink to carry with him as he patrols the village.
-----After that Sol visits Shema's grave for about half an hour. He then spends two hours in weapon drills, exercises, footwork and sword work close to the tower. Occasionally Garrison waves down to him as the woodsman continues his watch.
-----Toward the middle of the day Sol spends another hour taking care of Thunder including a cleaning and a grooming. Borrowing a bucket from Beleya, he heads upstream of the village as it's likely to be cleaner there. Sol washes Thunder and himself on the banks finding the water cool and somewhat refreshing.
