-----"Spare me! Have mercy!" the commander begs.
-----Meanwhile, Raven jabs in with his other sword as Krondor moves quickly to parry it. Krondor then turns his sword trying to catch Raven off-guard, but the Hunter blocks it.
-----The guard who faces Rinda stabs in and catches the huntress across her upper arm. The weapon barely scratches her, but Rinda bares her teeth and growls as he swings down with her club. The man backs up as her weapon swoops in front of him.
-----The man opposing Garrison misses him as the woodsman jumps avoiding an attack at his feet. Garrison then lays his battleaxe into the man's side injuring the opponent there. After the snapping of some ribs are heard, Garrison tells him, "Listen to me, you peon, we hunted you down! There is no way you're going to live through this battle. Run now, while you have the chance!" The woodsman then swings his weapon at the man again but fails to hit him.
-----"I say this again, surrender now in the name of Hearthorn and Altoria!!" Romney yells as his sword slams off his opponent's shield.
-----"Fool!" comes the answer from the man-at-arms that the noble guard faces, "We are no longer in Hearthorn. Hearthorn will soon have no authority anywhere!" The man-at-arms misses Romney as he swings at him.
-----"The Rager is with you, girl!" Lovan shouts at Sarah, impressed with the destruction due to her spell. The priest then slams his warhammer into his attacker's chest finding an opening as the man moved his shield. Caught off-guard, the man tries to retaliate against Lovan, but misses as he weakly stabs at him.
-----Sol pauses a mere moment in shock. His furious features are instantly replaced with a stern frown and he answers the commander in a quiet, clear voice, "I will, but I'll need to put you to sleep." Sol's next swing comes in just as quickly but at the last moment the Gorian flicks his wrist and the flat of the blade is borne towards the commander's temple.
-----Raven smiles at Krondor, "A little too hot for ya there ol' boy?" Raven's smile then fades and is replaced by a snarl, "Now you will die for all the good people you've killed." Raven attacks Krondor with a flurry of blows.
-----Suddenly three golden enchanted missiles race from Sarah's hand and strike Krondor in the upper leg, the chest and the shoulder. The evil one looks greatly shaken as Raven attacks.
-----The ranger slashes in with his twin swords, but each time Krondor parries them as he begins stepping back. Suddenly, Krondor goes down on one knee and holds his sword up in a defensive manner. Breathing heavily, the enemy of Hearthorn looks badly wounded as he coughs out, "I - I sur-surrender." He looks up at Raven with a submissive, but grimacing expression.
-----Lovan carries on his assault with his own opponent. "No quarter! No quarter! Bring the Rage home!" the priest yells as his warhammer misses the man-at-arms. The guard facing him steps back slightly with an uncertain look on his face. He then swings at the priest only to have his sword stopped by the warhammer. The two weapon ring as they meet.
-----Sol brings his sword upon the commander's temple. Just as the weapon connects, Sol moves slightly seeing the commander move out of the corner of his eye. It appears the commander had tried to thrust something into Sol's gut. As the unconscious middle-aged man falls to the ground, Sol sees the dagger the commander had just tried to stab him with.
-----Rinda's club smacks into the shoulder of the guard she faces. The chain armor shielding the man rattles as the guard grunts out in pain. Still trying to recover from the force of the blow, the man jabs at the huntress. Rinda glares at him as he misses her, growling out, "Run, prey, run while you can. Before I take the form of the Hunter's child and spill your blood!"
-----The guard facing Romney spitefully laughs at the noble guard. "Ha!" the man says to him, "You will die here on this soil where you hold no authority!" With that, he suddenly strikes Romney, drawing blood from his sword arm.
-----"Fiend!" Romney yells shaking off his pain, "Innocent people have died because of your leader's evil. Look upon him now!" Romney nods toward Krondor kneeling before Raven. The guard keeps his eye on Romney defiantly. He then parries a swing from the noble guard.
-----The man-at-arms facing Garrison stabs in piercing the woodsman's stomach muscles. Garrison looks down at the blood from his badly scratched abdomen and glares back up at the opponent. Garrison says nothing as he begins wildly swinging at the guard who now slowly backs up with an unreadable expression. The look on the woodsman's face, however, resembles a wild animal.
