-----Sarah hugs Sol tighter and gives the woman a triumphant, but dangerous look.
-----Hoping that issue is dealt with, Sol turns back to the man and smiles, "Well, we're here to do a job, plain and simple. All th' help ye can give would be appreciated and happily put t'use. I've only just got my horse back from those thieves, an' I'm eager t'talk t'th' person who's been wearing my face, but once that's done we have bigger fish t'catch...or cook. We can deal wi' that later. Have ye a horse? Or do we need t'get ye one now?"
-----Sol looks towards the teamster's yard as if to judge the possibility of further dealings with the farmer.
-----The man listens to Raven and considers his words before answering, "I was really heading t'ward Derknod. They've got a bit more woods there than there is with the swamps 'round this area."
-----"What Raven spoke of is true," Rinda says speaking up. The huntress holds her club at her shoulder as she continues. "I can see you are a man of the woods and perhaps a follower of the Great Hunter. We have come a long way from WilderHaven where all live with nature and the Way of the Hunt. The Hunt calls us forth to find the followers of the Dark who would destroy all that we live for."
-----The huntress pauses and lets her words sink in. In a firm but soft voice she then adds, "I am Rinda, Courser of the Hunt and of the Great Hunter, Thales."
-----Laying her hand on the ranger's arm beside her, she says, "This is Raven, the greatest hunter I have known and my Love."
-----Nodding toward Sol and Sarah, she introduces them, saying, "This is Sarah Night, a mage of Hearthorn and Sol Herron, a loyal and brave Gorian warrior. They are the truest of friends."
-----"Nice to meet you." Sarah says to the man.
-----Acknowledging the guards, Rinda says, "These guards have been in our company since we journeyed through Oakwood. They are Romney, Abram, Shema and Bradley."
-----Never taking her eyes off him, Rinda asks of the man, "Man of the woods, what do you go by?"
-----The man replies to her in a respectable and strong voice, "I go by the name of Garrison."
-----"Garrison," Rinda continues, "as the wolf forms a pack among his brothers, I call on you to join our Hunt as I see your Ways are like our own. What say you? Will you answer our call?"
-----The man named Garrison raises his eyebrows again as if impressed and surprised by the Huntress's request. He then nods and extends his hand toward the company of adventurers. "Aye, I shall join your Hunt!" He then adds as he answers Sol, "Aye, I have a horse."
-----"Do you know a lot about horses?" Sarah asks.
-----Just then Ruplier emerges from the tavern door looking somewhat disheveled from his 'charming.' Seeing the young woman in red among the adventurers, he calls to her in a nervous voice, "Ella! Come away from them! There is an enchantress among them!"
-----Sarah grins radiantly at Ella and ducks behind Sol to try to shield herself from Ruplier's view.
-----The young woman stares at the party as they speak with Garrison with her mouth agape. Turning toward Ruplier, she looks around with a look of confusion.
-----"It's okay, Ella." Sarah says. "Just go back to old Ruplier and forget you ever saw us or asked Sol to give you a ride on his horse and I won't fry your brain."
-----Garrison shoots Ruplier an angry look. The girl glares at Sarah but says nothing. Hiking up her skirt, she hurries from the adventurers' presence toward Ruplier. He quickly ushers her into the tavern and the door is quickly closed.
-----Turning back to the young mage, Garrison answers her. "Oh, I know enough 'bout horses to 'preciate 'em."
-----After a quick final glance at the tavern, Sol looks at Garrison, "Welcome to th' group. I think I'd like t'leave now so ye'd best grab yer horse." The warrior then plants a kiss on the top of Sarah's head as he says, "Come on, let's get going. With any luck Raven has a couple o' hours o' light left t'track."
-----Sarah leans up and returns to kiss on Sol's cheek. "Yeah, we should really be going now." She unwraps herself from around Sol.
-----"I was just curious how much you know, because I have some questions about Marlexana," she says as she walks over to her horse. "Like first and foremost, what is she? Because I'm really sure she's not a normal horse." She turns to Marlexana. "And no I don't mean that in a bad way. Stop acting like you can't understand me." She strokes her mane.
-----Sol lifts himself easily onto Thunder. He grins at Sarah as he comments, "I'd have questions too if my horse fired beams o' mystical healing energy out o' its eyes." Sol's face screws up in thought for a moment as he considers this quip, soon coming to the conclusion, "Maybe not, considering who yer father is." A few moments later, the Gorian is once more showing signs of wanting to continue on the journey; looking at the horizon, checking his equipment when he knows it's already secure and the constant movement of his hands and fingers as they fidget with the stallion's reins.
