-----"I'm sure all here would love to sample yer wife's cooking, sir. Unfortunately, it's because of that very duping that we should leave now. Th' thieves already have several hours on us, an' though we've gained some time on them, it's not yet enough. Thanks fer yer understanding."
-----Sol nods to the teamster and grins at the young girl, then leads Thunder from the yard through the gate. After that, he organizes his own saddlebags back onto his horse and mounts up.
-----As everyone prepares to leave the teamster's farm, Bradley says as if talking to no one in particular, "So we shall get a bite to eat as we ride?"
-----Rinda looks at the westward sun and then looks over at Raven. "You wish to follow the trail road more, my love?" she asks him. "The sun will set between two and three hours from now. We will soon need a good place to camp this night."
-----Raven says, "I'd like to eat while we move. We're getting closer to them, we need to be on the move as much as possible."
-----Raven turns to the teamster, "Did you see which way they headed?"
-----"No, I am afraid I did not," The teamster replies and then he turns to Sol, "I must admit I was happy to have your horse here on my farm."
-----The young girl speaks up and says, "I think I saw the one that looks like you lead them over toward the tavern." She then points back at the place where the small brownish building stands near by the location where the two roads branch together.
-----After Sol finishes preparing Thunder to ride once more, he mounts up. He then tries to wait patiently for Raven to once more lead the search.
-----Sarah watches somewhat sadly as Sol mounts up Thunder. The young sorceress had gotten used to having him on Marlexana's back with her. But she can't deny that they'll make better time now and that Thunder is a much more appropriate horse for him than Marlexana is.
-----"Ye did? Alright then, I guess it wouldn't take long t'check th' place out. Ask if anyone else knows anything. Thanks fer th' tip." Sol says to the girl gratefully.
-----He glances at Bradley before smirking, "That way ye satisfy yer gullet by getting some food t'ride with. Come wi' me, Bradley."
-----Slowly he turns Thunder and the stallion begins to walk towards the tavern. After a moment, Sol twists in his saddle and asks, "Anyone else coming?"
-----Raven follows Sol, as does everyone else. Just after dismounting, Sol strokes Thunder's nose a few times, and assures the horse that he'll be but a few moments. The young warrior then hands Bradley a few gold coins from his pocket and asks him to buy enough of whatever was cooked last for everybody.
-----Upon entering the establishment, everyone sees a small taproom with stools lining all the way around the walls. Mounted on the four walls are long shelves that extend outward allowing the patrons to set their drinks on.
-----To the left of the entrance is the bar where an old grizzled man with a peppered-colored beard tends. He squints with one eye as everyone enters while he wipes an earthen mug clean.
-----There are six other patrons in the place. In the center of the room, there is a small sized bench and table where three gnomes actively chatter and laugh.
-----In the far corner of the room, an average-sized human male sits facing the wall perhaps nursing his drink. He appears to wear leather and has a large axe on the floor by his foot. As he is turned toward the wall, his facial features are not revealed other than the light brown hair that closely hugs his head.
-----Another man sits to the adventurers' right wearing the clothes of a peasant. This man stares wistfully out the window at the plains beyond the village.
-----Lastly, another human male sits by the back wall. He is facing toward the center of the room and his eyes alight on Sol as he enters. Fine looking clothes topped by a black cloak adorn this man which on closer inspection reveal some worn places and patches in his garments. His black eyes twinkle and through the stubble of his black beard, his lips part exposing one gold tooth among the others of a brownish color.
-----Sol momentarily takes in the atmosphere of the tavern and he nods politely to the old barkeep. Sol takes a few more steps towards the centre of the establishment, allowing his companions room. Then the warrior addresses the tavern's patrons, "Afternoon all. My friends an' I are after some thieves who stopped by here earlier today. One o' them looked as if he could o' been my twin brother. We need t'deal wi' them as quickly as possible so we can get on wi' other business, so I'd appreciate any knowledge ye learned o' these eight or so mugs. Stealing from us is bad enough, but they betrayed us as well...so we owe 'em." Sol looks around the room, surveying the group of customers for any signs that they might know something important.
-----Sarah decides she doesn't like the way the gold-toothed man is looking at Sol. Standing subtly behind Sol and Raven she makes as few gestures towards him.
