-----A triumphant grin spreads across Sarah's beautiful face. "Oh Krondor, you magnificent bastard!" She exclaims. "We've got him!!!" She holds up a map with several red marks on it, and a letter signed by Krondor. "Krondor let loose the dragon, and he's instructed his minions to terrorize villages and the like. These people were working for him!" She exclaims in an absurdly happy manner. "Now we can just look at this map and catch him...I think. Garrison, Raven, that's more your department, I'll let you take over."
-----Sarah hands the map and writing to the two rangers and picks up the potions and scroll tube and examines them carefully.
-----Sol looks to Raven after Sarah has finished her revelation and comments blandly, "Ye know, each time I think Krondor's hit rock bottom in his doings, he turns out to be behind something equally or more foul. Th' man is obsessed wi' overthrowing Hearthorn isn't he?" He snorts at his rhetorical question as he stands up from the chest he was sifting through. The young warrior then walks over to Sarah and pulls out two books that rather resemble the spell bearing type. Sol flashes a grin and holds them out to her.
-----Raven shakes his head, "Krondor is a monster to say the least. I'll enjoy seeing him take his last breath." Raven takes the maps and keeps them in hand.
-----Raven turns to Sol, "The other priest? He said he wanted to open the gates of hell. So I sent him down there to do it. I thought it was the least I could do for him."
-----Raven says to Lovan, "We've got things covered here. The other priest awaits to face Rager's justice. No sense keeping him waiting, right?"
-----Raven then clears a nearby table and spreads the maps out. Raven begins to look them over.
-----Lovan gets an ominous look on his face at Raven's words. "Yes," he says almost growling, "the Rager's justice." He then turns to leave.
-----Romney peeks in the room and seeing Garrison looking over the map with Raven excuses himself to escort Lovan.
-----Garrison stands beside Raven and after looking it over slowly begins to nod. "It is a map of the area all right," the woodsman says. He plainly points out the Town of Redmarsh and the villages of Grute and Nox. The roads that run between the three places are also clearly marked on the map.
-----"This is where we are," Garrison continues pointing to a red mark on the road southeast from the Town. He then turns his attention to the village of Grute, which spots a red mark as well. "I wonder why Grute is marked here?" he asks. To the south of Grute, there is another mark. After thinking a moment, Garrison adds, "Those are the ruins that we met the ogre at!"
-----On the road from Grute to the Town of Redmarsh, they see one more mark plus two more in the countryside east of the road from Grute to Nox.
-----The huntress then speaks up, "And that is where our Prey hides!" Rinda reaches over and points to a mark about two miles east from the village of Nox on the river.
-----Raven nods as Garrison speaks. Raven says, "Krondor's been a busy boy. If only he'd put his efforts towards helping people." Raven frowns, "But he hasn't, has he? I say we head for his base by Nox and end this. After he's gone, we can cleanup the rest of his outposts of evil."
-----"I totally agree Raven." Sol nods vehemently. He smiles once more at Sarah before turning to leave the room and announcing, "I'm going t'make sure everything goes smoothly outside, and then there's a couple more things I would like t'check in here. But that will only take a couple of minutes. Then we can finish Krondor." The Gorian's fist clenches unconsciously at the thought of that.
-----"Sol!" Sarah exclaims, "Those aren't . . . I mean, . . . books! . . . HERE!" She finally gets the last word out as she grabs the two books from Sol. Totally forgetting where she is, the young mage sits down on the pallet bedding and begins searching through the tomes given to her.
-----As Sol walks on out, Garrison looks uneasily at the map. The woodsman finally says, "It would seem this Krondor has an army already in place. See how these outposts, if that's what they are, are to the east? It's as if he is excepting to sweep his army west."
-----Turning to Raven and Rinda, he asks with concern in his voice, "Where does this man get the men to join his army? Who is this man that gets ogres and a dragon to do his bidding?"
-----Raven says to Garrison, "He is a man that can bring the evil out of men's souls. He promises great wealth and power to anyone or thing that will listen." Raven looks at the map and then says, "Do you think he's going to attack Redmarsh and take over this whole area? That would make sense if you think he will march westward. If he had a dragon under his control, I hate to think what other monsters he will pull out of his hat. Many people will die unless we can stop him." Raven frowns, "This won't be easy, but our small troop will make it easier for us to scout out his camp."
