-----A low chuckle starts to emanate from Sarah's throat. It's a somewhat wild and dark chuckle, like one who has just stumbled upon something amazing. Sarah shakes her head, an insane glint in her eye. "I can't wait to try that..." She says darkly as she floats up and over to Garrison, still sitting cross legged and reading. She sits on the ledge and continues to read.
-----Garrison looks at Sarah from the corner of his eye. The woodsman then says, "Should we catch up to the others?" He then stands listening intently for sounds from where the others had vanished to.
-----"Oh I'm sure they'll manage." Sarah says absently. "But keep an ear open, if you hear trouble let me know." Sarah's tone indicates that she would much rather be left undisturbed.
-----Chessie moves a bit in his sleep, almost disturbed from his rest earlier. As he drifts into slumber, he sends thoughts of love to his mistress as she continues to study the arcane writings of the book.
-----As Raven and Rinda make it to the next level, they find the level opens to expose a small aisle with two doors on a dividing wall, perhaps giving access to two separate rooms. The incline continues on up to the next level.
-----Lovan walks up behind them. Across from them, they see that the door on the left is opened. Approaching, they find Sol within examining the contents of a darkened room. The room looks to be a sleeping chamber featuring a small, but comfortable looking bed. On the wall to the left, there hangs a dark colored robe on a wooden peg mounted into the stone. A small dresser features a vial of liquid and a small flat white glass-like container atop it. Sol happens to have a curious looking circular prism set in a frame with a handle in his hand. The young warrior is looking at the small glass container on the dresser.
-----Sol looks up at the new arrivals and despite the recent events, smiles brightly and hooks his finger towards the door suggesting, "While yer here ye may as well search th' room opposite. When we've cleaned this place out, I'll show ye something amazing! Ah magic..." Sol words trail off as he replaces the lid of the glass container. He then scoops both that item and the vial and gently places them in the pocket of his breeches.
-----The Gorian then resheathes his longsword, which was drawn, and still holding the framed prism by the handle, he lifts the dark robes off the peg. With a flourish, Sol lays the robes out on the bed, which he then proceeds to search with his one remaining free hand.
-----"Amazing, you say? If it will aid us against Krondor, all the better." Raven nods, "Okay, I'll check it out." With that, Raven heads toward the opposite room.
-----The robe appears to be a finely made garment. Its dark texture shimmers as it catches the dim lighting. Sol finds no pouches on it or anything else of interest.
-----As planned, Sol looks under the bed to see if anything has been placed beneath. He finds nothing under the bedding and as he rises, he sees Lovan in the room with him. They then go over to the next room.
-----There, Sol finds another bedchamber although the appearance seems to take him aback. Dark tapestries hang from the wall and cruel writings are inscribed into them with some reddish pasty goo.
-----The room here looks trashed as even the bedding has been thrown about with straw covering a wide area of the floor.
-----On a chest that has been hacked several times as if from the blow of a mighty weapon, stands a single glass container of reddish liquid.
-----Raven and Rinda are already examining the room, though cautiously.
-----As the hunters begin looking over the room, they suddenly realize that Sol and Lovan enter behind them. The storm priest stands with an angry expression while his mouth hangs open. "This foul place must be destroyed," Lovan mutters as he raises his weapon.
-----Sol looks at the Rager's priest next to him and says sternly, "Agreed, but let us search th' place first. Any information we find on Krondor could be useful."
-----Sol lets his distaste of the room show as he helps Rinda and Raven search. Occasionally the Gorian holds up the prism and looks through it.
-----Raven nods, "No argument here." Raven approaches the beaten up chest and reaches for the vial of liquid. He places the vial in a pouch and then continues to search the room.
-----As the adventurers search, they realize there is not much here to look for. The only items of interest in the room are the beaten up chest, the scattered bedding and the appalling wall hangings.
-----A few swords inserted into the bedding and behind the wall hangings reveal nothing.
-----Sol moves over to the swords and picks them up, one by one, testing the weight and balance of each. The young warrior glances up at Raven to see if the hunter holds the same interest, if so handing the man each blade in turn.
