-----Runik immediately takes a position by the front door looking for anyone who might be entering.
-----Krord still has the back of the man's collar as the man gasps for breath as he fearfully looks up at the Pirate.
-----The Dread Pirate grumbles at the cowering man, "Now I'm a reasonable sort of halfling and I'd just as soon not slice your liver out and eat it with some faver beans and a nice chianti, but I will if the temptation hits me. So we'd all best be served by calmly answering my question and getting me out of here as soon as possible. I've already had breakfast, but you know how we halflings like to eat. Now who is that woman in the sedan chair?"
-----The man sputters out an answer as sweat builds around his temples and receding hairline. "I-it is the L-Lady Mitan!" The man's eyes then roll in his head from the excitement and then he suddenly goes limp in Krord's hand. Krord frowns as he shakes the fainted man but his body limply flops like a puppet.
-----The Dread Pirate, never one to overlook a gift opportunity, regards the unconscious man, then deftly goes through his pockets. Dread then scrambles over the counter and checks for any loot. Finally finished, Dread signals that he is ready to follow their new employer.
-----Seth shrugs and adds, "Should we rifle all the rooms while he is out?"
-----The Dread Pirate quickly liberates the unconscious man of a silken money pouch. As Gimplefwick scoots over the counter, footsteps are heard on the stairs to the left. As three people descend the steps, Krord, with urging from Kazel, place the unconscious man on a couch in a sitting position. The other rogues then position themselves around him as if they are guests involved in a friendly conversation.
-----"You there, innkeep!" a voice says. As the Dread Pirate looks up from behind the counter, one of the three people looks over the counter at him. This person appears to be a youthful dark-haired male wearing dark traveling clothes. His short silky hair barely brushes his slightly pointed ears.
-----His two companions, one a male and the other a female, wear dark cloaks and appear a bit street wise by their demeanor. The girl wears her light colored hair tucked into her hood, which hides her face. The other male sports light brownish hair, which frames his thin face. They glance about the room taking in the patrons in the front parlor.
-----The youth sneers at Gimplefwick as he asks, "Where be the nearest tavern? Yer inn here doesn't seem to have strong enough drink."
-----Seth, eyeing the three's wardrobe decides they may have an excellent choice of clothes back in their room, and so gives them directions to the tavern he sung at last night. He then adds, "What room are you in again? We should send someone up to clean it for you?"
-----Turning toward Seth, the young man with the brownish hair studies the musician with a suspicious eye. A bit of whiskers are on his chin and like the first man, his ears are slightly pointed. He narrows his brown eyes and answers, "Second room on the left just up the stairs."
-----Seth bows, and says, "I shall have the girl tidy your room immediately. By the way do not forget to ask for the harper to sing for you in the bar!"
-----The Dread Pirate nods ingratiatingly at the three and says, "Yes, yes, by all means have a nice time at the tavern. Mention that you are staying with us and get fifteen percent taken off of your bill. We'll have your room tidied up and freshened before you get back. Will you be requiring any other services today?"
-----The three half-elven people step back for a moment looking at everyone in the rogue's company. They then glance at each other.
-----Raising an eyebrow, the dark haired male smiles curiously and says, "Nah! Don't think we'll be needing anything else. G'day t' ye!"
-----With that, the trio walks out the front door of the inn with Runik jumping up after them as the door closes. Watching them descend the steps, the dwarf brushes his brow saying, "Whew! I ain't sure 'bout them three."
-----The Dread Pirate eyes the three exiting elven types, saying, "I don't think they went for it. We'd best be makin tracks after our employer. Those three don't look like law abidin type, but they might rat us out fer the fun of it. Runik, go bring the wagon around to the front. Krord, go upstairs and fetch Brandel and anythin we may have left up there. Marast, go outside and keep an eye on things. Let us know if anythin looks fishy out there. We'll hide our new friend here in one of the back rooms."
-----The Dread Pirate then grabs some curtains and proceeds to tie up the hapless innkeeper and drag him into a secluded closet where it is unlikely that anyone would find him for a while. As an afterthought, Dread grabs some cloth and gags the innkeeper as well.
